When the internet was still young and MS was being charged for browser monopoly (Google was just starting), there was an dyke AJ called Reno. She had a big program called "carnivore" that went through internet traffic to find "the meat".

They have only gotten better since. Snowden was a hero in my book. Assange also.

Unless you're a person of interest, they (the powers that be) don't give a shit about what you do, think or say. What they do care a whole lot about is what WE, as a whole, do, think and say. They care about manipulating society, not manipulating you. How you behave on your own, and how you behave in society, are two completely different things.

Any parent worth their salt knows their kids have different behaviors. The kid's behavior is different at school, in public, with their friends, and when they're at home. Same thing for adults. Governments know this and are pretty good at manipulating us (see Manufacturing Consent), but there's been an uptick in use of the word "woke" and the idea behind it. I think we're already woke and it's an unintended consequence of the internet. It has governments worried. Some more than others.

As for "carnivore", they don't have enough eyes to search for "TychoMonolyth" and what he's growing this season. They're more into Geopolitics and spying on other government officials. They do not have 5 thousand people reading transcripts. Even if they did, that wouldn't be near enough. Like I said LEO doesn't have access to carnivore or anything that came after that.

I think massive donations to politicians is going to be legislated away eventually. But corporations are still really good at getting you to give them money. Even then, it's also going to be legislated away just like the subliminal "buy a hotdog and coke" was removed from theaters. But it'll take a while. In the mean time, hold onto your wallet.

OK, just to show you all how right you are, I hacked into everyone's computer in this thread and stole your personal information. And, now I am going to post your real names on the web....

Bob, Fred, John, Danny, Francis (Francis?) and Paul.

Ok, now you know. And, Danny, quit jacking off so much or you'll go blind.

Well Edward Snowden went into detail on the Joe Rogan Experience on how google and apple, etc... record everything, like even when your phones off and what not, it's always listening etc... everything you've ever typed or searched while online is there, every video chat every chat log, etc... this is common knowledge for those who read the fine print on the Terms and Service but a shock to those who just immediately click "accept", but it's something that is a reality.

The thing is, it's not necessarily monitoring you, it's storing all of this data for a variety of reasons, but it's not as if Google is directly spying on anyone, it's just in cases to where law inforcement or some sort of authority is investigating someone specifically, or they have created a horrendous crime. Like for example, Elliot Rodger, and other mass shooters usually after they kill themselves or go to jail, the authorities then go back and trace his internet footsteps and find out what forums he was on, what he'd talk about, and see that he was a disturbed person.

This isn't just a Chinese or American thing, this is a worldwide thing, because virtually everyone uses google in some form or fashion, be it for creating a YouTube account, or an email account, and if you don't have an iPhone and have an android that REQUIERES you to have a google account, so while it is invasive, it is what it is. My way of dealing with the reality of this scenerio, is simply being really transparent about my life in general, so the world can see that I am not some criminal or some weirdo but that I'm simply me and just get medicated, listen to music, create music, and other music related shit, as well as watch YouTube as my main source of entertainment, but most of the time I prefer to just be doing something productive with my life like working out and getting in the best shape of my life as well as enjoying nature and the summer.

Peace and Love,

I, and many others, actively seek restrictions on how my information
is shared.

Lots of money to be made on this information, algorithms are
in their infancy, but in twenty years we all be bagged and tagged.

Outside of China, the top most-surveilled cities in the world are:
  • London - 68.40 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Atlanta - 15.56 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Singapore - 15.25 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Abu Dhabi - 13.77 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Chicago - 13.06 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Sydney - 12.35 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Baghdad - 12.30 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Dubai - 12.14 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Moscow - 11.70 cameras per 1,000 people
  • Berlin - 11.18 cameras per 1,000 people
  • New Delhi - 9.62 cameras per 1,000 people
Say cheese, lol

In 20 years, I'll be EXACTLY that.... bagged and tagged. LMAO So, I don't give a fuck what they do 20 years from now. LOL

99% of the info gathering is about marketing and making money, not spying on anyone, personally. Quite frankly, most people are not worth the money it takes to spy in them.

I worked for the DoD most of my life and had Secret and Top Secret clearance. Been in the silos. Behind closed door in the Pentagon. You can bet they monitor every single keystroke I make. But then, I agreed to that many many years ago. And, I agreed to it for life. No big deal. Most of the shit I have to hide in my life is shit they paid me to do, anyway. LOL

Absolutely sensible: the corporations are owned and run by the oligarchs - the permanently wealthy - and the CEOs are just employees, much in the same way that “conservatives” in office - including appointed office - are also employees of our “secret” ruling class.

Since this includes a majority of the Senate and a majority of the SCOTUS bench and a great many state and local officeholders, being skeptical of the actions of government is a survival skill.

We should be EQUALLY skeptical of the “principles” propounded by these same employees and their employers...and we should remember that if it’s all a swindle, they mean to swindle US, you and me, not the designated Bad Guy of The Moment.

They mean to swindle us out of our country - and every fool who believes the swindlers helps them get it done.

Problem is, watching it and being skeptical and all that shit, doesn't make any difference. They run the show and there's nothing we can do about it (short of the historically proven path of violence and rebellion).

Boils down to this... If you're doing something wrong, you better be smart. And, ,you better be careful. If you're not doing anything wrong, walk around with your head in the clouds, watch the TV news, and be a victim. Really, not a whole lot more one can do about it.

And after all that high intrigue and classified MIC skulldruggery, Mr. Ringodoggie transitioned to being a civilian by opening his own office so he could to go to work and do nothing. Must have been a fed.guv job before.

LOL, I am just kidding. Sorry. I kinda know of what I speak...

LOL... Actually, I have always been civi. Never actually belonged to any sanctioned service but I fought alongside many of them. I was in independent contractor for the DoD from when I was about 17 until I retired at 49. Spent the first 15 or so years in the field mostly killing people and blowing shit up and the next 15 or so in an office in Washington re-building the shit we blew up. LMAO Lot of money in war..

I should write my life story. I'm not one to look back and I don't really give a shit what's behind me but, it would be neat to see what I remember. I have not had a typical life. I was abandoned/stolen/lost/whateverthefuk as an infant. I was raised by a black woman until I was about 4 or 5 and then some white men came and took me away from the only Mother and family I had ever known.... because she was black and I was white. Boy, did I hate white people for a long time. LOL My 3rd parents owned a liquor store in the hood so I saw my first rape at about 9 and witnessed my first death at about 7. We were being robbed once and long story short, I killed the robber. Shot him 3 times in the chest. My Dad looked at me and smiled and motioned.... I put 3 more in his head. I was not even a teenager yet. Joined the mercs at about 17. Killed more people than RJ Reynolds. Been a pretty fucking weird life, compared to most. Sure gave me a different outlook on life than most. LOL
