Update: Day 28 'Faisselle'

Update: Day 28 'Faisselle'

I was away for a few days and when I came home yesterday all the pants were flowering females with the roots showing tips at the bottom of the faisselles :D .
Earth was already pretty dry on top but the reservoir was still full and saved the roots.
BTW they stretched a lot.
To know what's what, just look at the picture's name ;) .

Update: Day 28 LST

Update: Day 28 LST

I was wondering if it were possible to LST hemp.
That's why I took half of the plants to tie them down and see for myself. I'm rather sceptical but who knows...

Week 4 ...ish...

Week 4 ...ish...

It might be because its growing stronger.....but the Apollo plant's roots are really starting to break the surface.

This also might be due to the fact I only cut slits for drainage/pruning on the sides and bottom.

Zeus on the other hand is done Hempy style, and has no roots poppin' the surface at all.

Heisy (the AF) is really an experiment I wanted to try. Smaller container inducing flowering n' whatnot.

Info like that would be important for my upcoming summer projects.

This is such an awesome contest! I will have to start eating some yoghurt in order to participate in this. The pictures of the little plant babies in the yoghurt cups are so cute. Can't wait to grow some of my own. Now I only need to figure out what brand to pick for the containers. I want mine to be colorful! Hope it all works out and I can post pictures soon.

Update: Day 34 'Faisselle'

Update: Day 34 'Faisselle'

Finola really doesn't do well with LST *cry*.
One plant swell the bent internode up to the point where it cracked of its own (it was nearly 3 times as thick as the rest of the stalk), another starts to turn around its axis like a screw and the third one simply stopped growing... and neither has much intention of branching out.
The others do fine, the roots start reaching the reservoir, first stalked trichomes and even seeds are visible (I should be more careful with the males nearby).

Pictures are a 'group hug'.

It shows the female preflowers, usually trifoliates* are males.

Here she is with her sister, germinated the same day:

F1's of unkown x nycd x sensi star. They smell like skunks, dead ones.

Hey DC, what did you do to keep it soooo small and compact? Very decorative the lil one!

She is a broadleaf pheno of mostly broadleaf parents.

Small pot, vegged under 48 watts PLL, Minimum nutes,
16/8 light schedule.

Also the trifoliate branching has a role in the squatness.

But even her sister is short for a plant vegged that long.
Genetics, mostly. Her sisters flower thick and short.
