Yields : Canopy Vs Structure

Is the amount of nutrient/hormones received by the buds is a result of :

a) The canopy diposal. Example : A really even canopy from whatever shoots, like in the SCROG (screen of green) style

b) The structure of the plant, like in ''main lining technique’’ where we favorise a single split at the base (chandelier style) to get an even distribution of the branch

The reason of this question is to know if it s beneficial or not to remove the first bottom branch before the main split early in veg. Sometimes we can have the impression that if we keep those branch, the plant will have a more balance structure (reaching four directions)

Note: The work is with plants from clones (2 weeks clone + 2 weeks veg) All plant have been top once for now. This is indoor with a coco substrat.

All of the above, and light intensity, root structure/size, and environmentalists, all tied together. You have to find the balance for your growing style and technique

For example ,I do remove branches early veg because it gives the energy to the rest of the plant that will be receiving good light.

Also when I prune I will always leave a lower thicker branch and prune a middle branch to get an even canopy, because the lower branch seema to have a better "mainline" to the roots and will always produce more than a skinny middle branch with the same node spacing.

But I think environmentalists are the most important. You just won't get good nutrient uptake if your ph, temps and humidity are off or you don't have good light intensity

Hope that makes some sense, way to high to be rambling on here lmfao, god damn joints laced with wax get me every time
