I've been growing for about 7+ years now, nothing major, just a couple 1k's. I'm far from a commercial op, but I won't B.S. you, I grow 95% for profit. Well, after searching for about 6 months, I found the perfect lot, in the perfect place.

I bought a 4 acre spread in a northern state, right across the street from a lake. There are utilities on site, the land has been surveyed, and is buildable. It is a 2 minute drive from a huge ski resort, and I can't wait to start building on it. I make pretty good money from my business, but without marijuana assisting me along the way, I wouldn't have been able to afford this venture.

The asking price on the lot was 137k. I got it for 89k. It will cost me about 240k to build the type of house I want to build on it.

I truely miss OG, and owe a lot to that website. Life is what you make it, so be careful guys, and tell NOBODY!

yeah,,,, good idea sounds like you have a great spread but you should take your own advice out of concern im not trying to bust your balls. You told us you grow for profit and about the new property you're buying. . . .which if babylon is so inclined they could seize. I'm sure we all want you to be safe man.

Dude, I'm really confused now? You started a thread 3 days ago titled " Build Me A House" And in it you said that you have just started looking for a new house for around $350,000. And in this thread 3 days later you say you have been searching for 6 months. And in your other thread you said purchasing land and building a new home wasnt an opption for you. And in this thread 3 days later you say you bought a $89,000 lot and are building a home?

i was starting to notice what trouble mentioned.........so to be honest, i gotta wonder too.........ive got nothing against throwin smoke screens.........though im not sure y u announce u grow mostly for profit (potentially turning leo ON to you) and then throw another 'smoke screen' mentioning your new place.

the only thing bad about smoke screens.........people who might be on your side can't tell if you're a friend or an enemy posing as a friend in order to sneak behind our lines

I agree with IrishSoco, when someone comes in here talking about all the weed their growing and selling and in every other post talking about buying $40,000 cars and $350,000 homes, it makes one wonder about thet persons agenda?

yo how could we grow on the moon. for real. doesn't weed grow well at higher altitudes which can be defined by lesser pressure and thinner air. if there's no gravity the plant wouldn't have to concentrate on building strength and could use more energy for the trichs.

what would be the benefits of growing on a moon base?

I understand the paranoia but I'm not sure if the DEA is that interested in this site to be honest. 99% of the commercial growers here are small fish by their standards, not even worth all of the money (in man-hours) you'd have to spend to somehow catch one of them by their postings, when with a similar time investment you can catch a huge op.

I dunno, that's just my theory, because there are some people on here (*COUGH COUGH* Julian, Lougrew *COUGH* damn this weed's harsh eh?) who do fairly substantial commercial grows and they don't seem to be having any trouble. I'm sure they have someone checking up on here but I'm not sure how big it is.

I know about this whole "no grow too small" thing but I don't think they actually dedicate a lot of resources to catching those small grows; when one of them gets busted it's because a nosy neighbor smelled the plants or some loose lips or something, not some dea spook surfing grasscity or rollitup or icmag or whatever going "Hey that guy's growing 5 plants in a computer case! Let's get a location stat and scope out his city to find where he lives!" y'know? And they probably wouldn't make a big deal out of small mersh grows either.

Still if I was growing for profit, I probably wouldn't mention it online just to be on the safe side. But at the same time, I definitely don't think it puts the small personal growers in any real jeopardy even if the DEA is watching for-profit growers here to any really serious degree (which I doubt, or else some members would've been busted a while ago).
