yellowing young seedlings

If the transplant does not work, don't get upset, because we don't know if the seedlings can make it yet due to the mixture..... so when you remove them from the soil, make sure you get enough soil to where no roots are disturbed and put it in the sink and let warm water rinse the soil away and then you can transplant, be EXTRA careful as the tap root is very delicate, depending on where it breaks, one snap can be the end of the seedlings life.

ok m8, so u think try and get every bit of the old mixture off of the tap root? also for this mix im thinking 50% of this john innes, 40% perlite and 10% bone meal? how does that sound to you bro?

What you want to do is let the water get all the dirt off it, that way when you remove soil you risk ripping the tap root, so let the water rinse as much as you can get off.
I would not add any bone meal to the mixture, would wait 2 weeks before you do that.
Let them grow in those cups they are in now, just rinse them out real good and after they get too big for those cups when you transplant them into pots you can add some bone meal, but ensuring the mixture is mixed real good. Right now you can add the perlite to the mixture that is fine as long as the perlite does not have any nutrients added to it.

right so i re-potted them yesterday in the new mix, basically 50% john innes no1 and 50% perlite which doesnt apear to have any additives, hopefully they will perk up, im not so sure about to of them but the 3rd had a much better developed root system and doesnt look yellow yet so hopefully at least 1 of them will live on!
whats the best level of moisture to keep the soil at while they are like this? also ive got them on 20/4 at the moment to give them a short break lol is this ok?

I'm sure they will all be fine assuming the soil is good for them now.

Water thoroughly to get a little runoff, feel the weight of the pot, then do not water again until the pot is light and the plant is just starting to wilt or get soft. You can use a cheap moisture meter as well. You can re-water at the beginning even if the bottom is still moist as the roots probably haven't reached down that far yet, and your plants may get wilty even though there is still moisture in the pot. After the plant grows some, only water when the pot is nearly dry.

You can start to feed 1/2 strength in about a week assuming the plants start growing nice and normal.
