Have you started feeding them yet? It looks like Nitrogen def. Heres a description of nitrogen def.

Symptons include slower growth, lower leaves cannot produce chlorophyll and become yellow between veins while veins remain green. Yellowing progresses through entire leaf. Stems and leaf undersides may turn reddish purple. Nitrogen is very mobile and must be added regularly to sustain fast growing gardens.

Hope this helps. peace

Have you mixed anything with your soil like perlite? Wal Mart soil has food already in it, doesnt it? I would check your ph before feeding anything. How often are you watering?

It's def nutrient lockup. You need to use some nice filtered water and check the pH. It should be around 6..

i think its definatley your ph .. i bet its above seven and your getting most nutrients locked out and unavaliable..have you tested your run off for ph and tds? your city waters ph is probably above ph 8.. maybe you can start using distilled or invest in a ro machine...

take care

are you using tap water ?? and if you are = chlorine & other negatives can cause a full spectrum of problems ... If so try leaving your water out for 24 hours b4 you
feed it to your plants .. also make sure to PH balance i can't stress that enough
My ph target is 6.4 veg -6.7flower

hi fredster....this is one of the topikz that i've read with more interest
there's a lot of good advices on ur tread....compliments bro!!!GOOD STUFF!!
cause lot of people can understand,by this stuff, all the problem that seems unknowed... and where lot of new cultivators shakes her heads2!!!!

in my experience i've see that a soil tending to basic is more good..i mean this cause i add ZEOLITE and goes ever all good with ph diseases ..
before find zeolite i've ever used ASH to correct this troubles by ...but it was strongly alcaline for my opinion, and it don't make the ion exchange functions!!
also zeolite make this in every conditions;ipo-iso tonic type...if there are nutes in excess she absorb ions(plus don't break down N in non absorbible form) and release those only when the soil need them!!..

hope it's comprensible...i'm not totally able to speak in english...but i've tried at least :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
