Hello.

I have a problem with yellowing leaves.
I am growing:
4x TFD Original Haze,
2x Dinafem Blue Hash and
2x Dinafem Cali Hash

I switched the plants to flower (11/13) 3 days ago. I had a problem with them before: some nute burns and ph-swings. I transplanted and that solved the problem for a bit, but now the leaves are yellowing as shown on the photos.

I filled in the form for soil growers.

SOIL:

How long has this problem been going on?
A week

What STRAIN are you growing?
TFD Original haze. Dinafem Blue hash. Dinafem Cali hash

What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?)
Seed

What is the age of your plants?
2 months. Only 3 days in flower.

How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now?
2 weeks

How Tall are the plants?
The plants are LST’d, but around 30cm if they were to be vertical.

What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?
Flowering 3 days

What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot)
Approximately 25L pots. 1 plant per pot.

What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?
(Unbranded) Flower soil (said ph of 6 on the bag)

What Nutrient's are you using?
Bio Bizz Bio-Grow
Bio Bizz Bio-Bloom
Bio Bizz Top-Max
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*
2ml of each nute per 1L water.

How often are you feeding?
Every week

How often are you watering?
2-3 times a week

When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?
Last feeding was 1 day ago.

What size bulb are you using?
600W MH with digital ballast

What is the distance to the canopy?
around 35cm

What is the canopy temperature?
82.4 F (28 C)

What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)
Day 26C – 29C
Night 18-20C

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
320 m3/h (188cfm) – Grow area is Homebox L (1mx1mx2m)

Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ?
The inline fan is hanging at the top, inside the Homebox. Exhaust hose runs out of the tent, out of the room where the Homebox is and into a corridor with good airflow, so warm air does not build up there. There is adequate ventilation in the entire house due to some open windows. I have 2 out of 3 intake holes open at the bottom of the tent.

Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
There is a rotating table fan blowing directly at the plants.

Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist?
No, I allow the soil to get dryer before I water again. I wait for the pots to get lighter and the top layer to dry up a bit.

Is your water HARD or SOFT?
I use tap water. I would say it is pretty neutral; it definitely does not appear HARD.

Are you using water from a water softener?
No, plain tap water that was allowed to heat up to a room temperature.

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched?
No

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when?
No

Are plant's infected with pest's?
No

Please help, the problem is getting worse, the yellowing is spreading.

Any advice appreciated.

I am using Bio Bizz line of nutes:

Bio Bizz - Bio Grow
Bio Bizz - Bio Bloom
Bio Bizz - Top Max

They contain everything the plant needs?

I had this happen to my seedlings , lower leave get burned and will never repair and the plant just seems to let them die off.

I would reduce the amount said on directions on nutrient bottles and give the plants diluted amounts.Tap water need to sit for 24hrs plus in open air in a coke bottle with lid off or similar before use.

Flush that soil with straight water and only feed them nutrients once a week.

Measure the PH of the soil. I think it might be too high and is causing a lockout.

Do we see in that first picture that the veins are still green, but the area between the veins is yellowing? That *could* be an iron deficiency causing the lack of chlorophyll production.

Thx, yeah, I will measure the soil pH asap, have to get a meter.

I think that this is not an iron deficiency as new growth would be effected first.
In my case it it the older leaves that are yellowing, and yes, the veins of the leaves do appear to stay partially green (check the photos above)

I checked the guide to sick plants and pics from an MJ book and it appears that I have a Nitrogen and/or Magnesium deficiency.

Could anyone confirm that by checking my photos in the first post?

The plants were transplanted two weeks ago - at the time of transplant they were not doing so good: nute burns and probably pH issues.

However they loved the transplantation and EXPLODED with growth after the transplant. Could it be that they already used up the nutrients in the 25L pots (in 2 weeks since transplant)?

I fed them 2 days ago, will check how they are doing tomorrow.

Any more thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
