So I started notice this a few days ago but thought it was the lighting. My girls new growth is starting to yellow starting at the palm of the leaf. I just flipped to 12/12 2 days ago but noticed the yellowing to start a few days before. Below are the details and pics(hopefully you can see the difference). Please help.

Yellowing is only on new growth! Older growth looks good except for some slight burnt tips

Strain: AK48 (Nirvana). 3 girls in 5gal pots, 2 girls in 3g pots

1200w(248 out of the wall) LED

FFOF Soil

Watering plants every 3 days.

Green Planet Medi One Organic every other
watering at 40% recommend use. I did add a pinch of Dolomite Lime as a dressing to the top of the soil last week for the first time.

Temps run about 71-78 during lights on and 65-69 during lights off.

If you need anymore info please ask.

I’m using distilled water for every watering.

I think they may be overfertilized. I wouldn't use 40% strength, and use every other watering. Im not familiar with your fert, but I generally use no more than 20% mix, and that's on Large/older well established plants, and use every feeding. But I mainly use chemicals.

Generally when one adds lime, its best to use 2 parts Dolomitic Lime to 1 Part Calcitic. Calcitic act the fastest, and the dolomite lasts longer, and buffers it. They work together.

I can give them straight water for the next few waterings and not add any fertilizer.

Whats your growing medium???
I dont know how accurate the PH side of your meter is...7 is to high. 6.2-6.4 is better.

The Moisture function works great, and Ive used them for 25 years. I can live without them, but it takes out all guess work. Overwatering can also make them yellow.

I NEVER let the moisture level get to the Low Dry Mark. Always slightly above, and I never let them stay so wet, that it takes longer than 3.5-4 days until they need watering again. I water seedlings, and smaller plants with less, but more often.

Also while Im used to HID/1000w Gavita, when your temps run lower, you need even less fertilizer. We usually run 78-84 degrees, and use no more than 20% strength on big plants, and feed every watering.

Just a tip for future reference... it’s really hard to see plants properly in “blurple” LED light. When you’re asking for pest/disease advice, it’s best to take the pictures in more natural light so we can see what’s really going on. Hope you get it figured out, good luck!

Using Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil. I’ve used this in the past and never had had an issue like this.

I have a wet/dry probe as well. I always check to see the moisture level before I do water them. I may be letting the plants get to dry before watering.

Temps can also be an issue as well. I’ve used HPS lights in the past and we all know the heat they give off. This grow is with an LED which has kept the temps rather low throughout the grow but these girls were vegged for 5 weeks and they are showing stress to the temps now?

I also just ordered a better PH kit as I am currently using one of those 3 in 1 probes(PH/Light/Moisture)

Thanks for the help ambertrich! Once lights come on tonight and see how they are doing.

When they get to dry, this concentrates the salts, then when you possibly feed, and water again, you release the concentrated salts, along with the regular feeding = to much fertilizer.
But letting them get to dry concentrates the fertilizer, and then when water hits it again, its to much.

Makes sense. I’ll give them straight water for the next few waterings to flush them.

Sulfur, Iron, cold nights. They're the usual causes.

Iron is most common, and sulfur is rare. Cold nights can't be ignored though

So I may have overreacted slightly. I pulled plants out of the tent to water them and new growth actually looks ok once it’s out of the blurple light. I am gonna add another light for better coverage and this should always raise temps a bit as well. When lights came on tonight. Still a bit chilly for the beginning of 12/12 temp was 62 in the temp. Thanks everyone for the help and advice.
