SOIL:
What STRAIN are you growing? Kalichakra (mandala seeds)
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) Seed
What is the age of your plants? 4 Weeks
How Tall are the plants? 5-7 Inches @ 4weeks, a few that are 4 inches at just under 3 weeks which dont seem to be as affected...
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Veg
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) Just letting them grow naturally until sex is shown then plan on cloning/finding moms
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 6 inch atm
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) Fox Farm Light warrior with about 10 percent earth worm castings, a pinch of soil sweetener, and some added perlite, 10 percent or so.
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* Have fed once with cal-mag, after the current problems, and also some earth warm casting tea
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? I am for 3-400
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? Orginally at their 1-2 week state of growth it was 7.9 or so due to using tap water, now its been lowered to about 6.9 with some PH down from Advanced nutrients, watering them with water ph'd to 5.8 or so.
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? Ph Pen
How often are you watering? 3-4 Days
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? Shying away from food for the moment, run off ppm has been as high as 600, usually once a week if that atm, plants are youngins :)
What size bulb are you using? 2 24w 5500K cfl bulbs for the first 2 weeks of growth, then 400 mh air cooled w/ glass for veg
What is the distance to the canopy? 6 inches or so on the cfls, I had the 400 mh about 16 inches away, and recently (tonight) raised it to about 20, some plants are 25 inches, some are 20.
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) avg 50, drifts from 35-55 depending on if I keep my humidifier full, highest has been 70 but I've increased airflow and it usually stays at 55
What is the canopy temperature? I'm not quite sure, I know the temperature between the light and the canopy is 75-77F, so a few probably 70-75
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) 75 daytime avg, 68 nighttime Farenheit
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) Approximately 70 Cfm intake, and 80 Cfm exhaust, independantly cooled hood. in a 4x4 space
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? There is an oscillating fan in the room
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? More wet then moist 2 inches below the soil, top 2 inches usually dry
Is your water HARD or SOFT? 170 PPM and doesnt change over a 24 hr period
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? Tap, and Distilled for leeching (have only leeched once so far, watered till I got decent run-off, nothing extreme)
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? No
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? Cal-mg, once, recently, at a quarter dose
Are plant's infected with pest's? No, definitely not, although I did have mouse problems a while back, which has been dealt with.

sorry for the poor quality photos, camera phone was used :/

the spots in this pic are weird, were once more brown, once the plant yellowed the seem bluish green (the dots)

I have another plant as well that I couldnt get a good pic of that has less yellowing but more brownish spotting on the bottom leaves, it looks kinda like a calcium issue. I'm assuming this was all ph related and my plants should be recovering. Just looking for advice from the experts :asskick

bad soil, not enough nutes, id give them nitrogen of any kind, tea preferably. but somthing N-P-K...
i hope your using RO water because that brownish is calcium/mag def or that leaf dieing because the plant dont need it, it took all the nitrogen out of it.

what I have for a good NPK nutrient is colorados choice magic 25-10-17, kinda high NPK but this stuff gives a low ppm count using their recommended dosage (600-700 ppm) and is in dry soluble form with mycorrhizae. If this stuff is out of the question I wont use it. It also has Chelated Iron at .10%, soluble zinc @ .05%. The nitrogen is 6.0% Ammoniacal Nitrogen, 2.2 Nitrate Nitrogen, and 16.8 Urea Nitrogen. Also you hope that I'm using RO water? Unfortunately I am not and can either used distilled or tap, or a mix. Whats recommended? And you say its possibly cal/mag deficient, wouldn't using RO water remove most of the calcium and magnesium from the water thus making the problem worse? or did you mean its a toxicity. Thanks in advance

bump...can I get more opinions/input? Need any more info?

another pic with a middle set of leaves showing the same issues the younger leaves first showed before they went necrotic

I also plan on topping the soil off with fresh earth warm castings with some more fox farm light warrior for the next few days, until I get my FFOF (by this weekend) then I'll transplant into a 2 gallon container.

fed and transplanted this plant and overnight she seemed to perk up a bit, first time i've seen her look so alive, along with her sisters that are a week behind, waiting to be transplanted, but received the same feeding. I'll post updated pics in a few days before I switch her to 12/12

brown spots on leaf serations is a Calcium defficiency. The first set of leaves that yellowed looks like Nitrogen.
