no, i take pleasure in laughing at your post.

if your this paranoid about yellow electrical tape, get out the game, its to much for you......

you really are a tad dense aren't you? aren't you the same kid who doesn't want it legal so you can extort people for more money for your superior "product"?

The REASON hes scared is it's always possible the COMPANY did it to MARK his SPOT for the popo to know who to spy on ..I believe thats what he's thinkin

Dude..and on a me to you level..stop being an asshole to everyone cause then I gotta be an asshole to you, and it's bound to catch up to both of us (grow up)

Go take it off and see if they put it back. We had the gas company keep coming to put yellow flags in our yard a couple years ago. They would put it in, I would mow it down and laugh, all summer. I don't know what they were thinking putting little flags where I had to mow, but my lawn mower won.

Seriously?....That's yellow Crime Scene tape-- whatever you do, DON'T TOUCH IT!!! It will compound your Felonies....I saw it on Law and Order one time...

They are putting that tape on there so that when they bust your ass, you cannot claim that somebody else jacked with your electricity use in The Court of Law

Dude, I am just kidding. 3 years ago, when I wasn't even growing for a while and if anything, my electricity use went down, I got the yellow tape too. It sits there to this day.

Zeppelindood is spot on- yellow usually indicates work to be done. That it's primarily wrapped around the tubing that comes from the ground, suggests that maybe there's some underground cable that's corroded/ needs to be replaced as was the case with mine. Could've been put there in winter months as a flag for work to be done once ground thawed...

I completely understand your being nervous about this. I may be 215 Cali now, but for 20 years before this I had to find ways to manage my paranoia: Grab the bull by the horns, dude, and hit the meter guy up if you can catch him-- put your mind at ease. Tell the guy you're concerned about any digging on your property even though they own the easement. Tell him you're thinking about planting-- IDK-- some f*cken tulips or something and you want to know whether or not you should wait until after the work is done. Don't call in and make a big deal about it...Just casually bump into the guy when he comes out to check the meter, that way you can make eye contact too to see if he stutters... Remember, you pay this guys salary-- they work for you.

Either that or, depending on your level of paranoia and possible consequences, you may want to shitcan your grow IMO. Sometimes the joy of growing can be negated and then some by having to live with the demon of paranoia. Honestly, my feeling is that answering many of these "security concern, what do I do?" questions is a zero sum game. 1) Growing is more highly prized by some individuals then others 2) paranoia is more psychically devastating for some than others and 3) the severity of consequences varies depending on peoples' locale. These three variables alone make any decision on "should I continue my grow?" a highly personal decision. Do you have kids? Do you have money in the bank for a decent lawyer?

It's a little like asking if you should invest your last $1000 in a risky stock-- it's entirely up to you and it has to be that way because it's more than that: It's not a fair question, if you think you're in jeopardy of getting pinched, to ask others if you should continue to act in a way that could get you hauled off in front of your kids. I for one would not be able to sleep if I thought that something I said to you enabled you to take risks which caused you major grief. Sometimes if ya gotta ask the internet... I really hope this helps you.

They are not going to mark your meter for LEO. I used to read water meters, and I had no idea of usage, because the computer (handheld device) wouldnt tell me the previous reading. It just gave me address and meter #, and the route order. Meter readers are there to read meters, not judge usage.

If they were going to report usage to LEO, they would just report it with an address.

My recent events tell me you probably wont know LEO is watching untl they arrest you.
