Wtf why do my plants stress everytime I move them from veg room to flower room

I've grown for 10yrs now 6ish in sealed rooms

This is my 3rd sealed room, veg room being in the same sealed area is only difference.

Never had issues at my other 2 locations

Friends in my area grow same way I do, same lights, nutrients, bottled co2 but they don't dry a crop in the same sealed area. They never have stress issues like I do.

My plants go from perfect to shit within 78hrs of me harvesting.

It's never dawned on me but its gotta be from harvesting/drying in the same sealed area.

From perfect to this in just 78hrs.. weird

Ethylene buildup stayed fucking up my harvested plants til I pulled my head out.. but i mean.. jeeze. That's a big room to think about building up toxic levels in..

It.. doesn't quite sound right, tho..

Maybe if it weren't so damn well sealed? Or had 1-2 short exhausts a day? I dunno.. That might solve for most any mystery gas buildup.

Could just be the silence of the lambs. I'd be stressed out too if you hung a bunch of slaughtered people in my room to dry..

Not trying to insinuate plants have eyes and ears or anything.. but wtf, right?

Just find another place to dry your plants, if that's the truly the only variable, no?

You need to let them roots/pots dry out fully near the flip. The days before moving to flower room let them dry out a bit more than usual. Now hydrate in veg room under veg lights then move to flower room and begin flower watering cycle as usual. Those plants look like the roots might be to wet to long.

My next guess is light intensity also; I see some heat tacos. Damn weed plants are pretty finicky until they're a full adult.

After that I'd say some form of humidity problem; those plants wanted more water, but didn't get it a some point after moving to flower room. More nitrogen in bloom feed also maybe try using Silica it's says it's for stress.

That’s too bad this is happening to your plants ...!!!...
that would drive me CRAZY bro ...!!!...

I hang my plants in the room that’s pretty much connected to my flowering rooms... there’s an open doorway that I hang black trash bags to block any light from coming in the room... (just to keep it dark in there while plants are drying)...
I’m sure I’m not hanging as much as you are At one given time...

You’ve got a really nice room as well...!!!... nice lights too...!!!...
:tiphat:...!!!...

It’s just too weird man...!!!... I REALLY hope you figure this out... please let us all know what it was if you do figure it out ...!!!...

Simple test. Dry someplace else and see!

For now I put plastic around my drying room door and taped it shut. Every 2 hrs I open the grow room door and blow a fan out for about 10 min. Done 3 times now and the plants seem perkier. I guess time will tell.

Before next harvest I'll build me a separate drying room. Its not as easy as just drying somewhere else. I gotta have humidity and temp controls plus not stink my house up.

It’s the co2! Same shit was happening to us. No co2 in veg, then 1k ppm co2 in flower.. would take days/weeks to correct. Past 3 runs we’ve slowly introduced co2 in increments of 200-300 over a week and we haven’t had a problem since..

Is it Possible ur gas supply (co2) is tainted somehow ? Had a buddy with propane burners that were fucked up... poisoning plants.. looked like a vpd issue but wasn’t.
Idk just a thought..
I have a hard time believing it’s the harvested plants drying in the next room causing any issue..

I also can’t really buy into that. Just doesn’t seem plausible but not impossible I guess. He should do one run without drying in there to rule that one out, process of elimination.

I have a 20x30 grow room. 20x20 flowering with a 10x20 veg room. I pick my full flower room at one time and I hang it in my veg room to dry. I'll bring my veg plants into my flowering room and the plants always start stressing. This round I vegged under MH and moved to gavita leds in flowering room. I've tried using same veg light in flowering room but plants always stress out at first. Temps are the same, humidity is good. Only thing new is a add co2 in my flower room. My plants have only been in the new room 2.5 days and perfectly healthy plants already look like poop.
Unless there is something wrong with the new room...

The plants look like they have a nutrient deficiency/lockout.

Maybe you're using R/O water and they're getting magnesium deficiency in flowering.

Mainly the pots look very small. Flowering itself is mainly an exercise in root expansion, which is why they need more root space and more phoshorus (P). And the calyxes are small, rolled up green leaves, which means they need more magnesium for the chlorophyl.

From experience, Mg and P deficiencies begin as soon as the earliest pre-flowers show up, if you use R/O water.

And you should check the runoff - are the first drops higher or lower than the water you pour on the plants. If they're higher, you may have overfeeding. If they're lower, your underfeeding.

Thanks everyone for your input its appreciated. I started this thread to start a dialogue about my problem and to document the issue and how to fix it.

I can say with 100% conviction that the problem is not my nutrients, R/O water, small environment problems like humidity, all these are not the issue.

In reality I have a 30x30 sealed room with a divider in it. All I did was move my plants 10 ft around the divider and under a full spectrum light 4 ft away.

We all know cannabis plants are somewhat forgiving, they can go through some small stress and not freak out and almost die like mine.

Remember this all starts when I harvest and my plants go from perfect to the brink of death within 72hrs. Super quick

Are you able to arrange an alternative space to hang harvest?

Please keep us updated what happens, very interested to know outcome!

I wont be able to move the harvest that's already cut down but I have plenty of room to build a separate drying room for next harvest.

I sealed my drying room off yesterday and vented my growing area several times now and the plants ts are starting to look better for sure. Perky leaves praying, 1/4 inch green new growth. Things are looking up.

I'll continue venting till my harvest is put into totes.

You could check the temperature under the lamps at leaf level. Maybe they need more ventilation.

One quick way is to hold the back of your hand at the leaf level and see if it feels warm. The averge hand temperature is 90F/32C, so if it feels warm it's higher than 32C and needs more ventilation.

Just this guy, ya know?
I've seen that damage before, in my case I'm pretty sure it was light damage. I'm subscribed to this one just to see if anything gets figured out.
