Wtf why do my plants stress everytime I move them from veg room to flower room

I have a 20x30 grow room. 20x20 flowering with a 10x20 veg room. I pick my full flower room at one time and I hang it in my veg room to dry. I'll bring my veg plants into my flowering room and the plants always start stressing. This round I vegged under MH and moved to gavita leds in flowering room. I've tried using same veg light in flowering room but plants always stress out at first. Temps are the same, humidity is good. Only thing new is a add co2 in my flower room. My plants have only been in the new room 2.5 days and perfectly healthy plants already look like poop.

What size wattage bulbs you use to vegetate and flower? If there's a major size increase then it's
possible you placed the plants too close to the bulbs in the flowering room. Start farther away and
over time inch your way closer. Like start 3 feet away and go down a few inches a day. If the top
of the plants feels too warm on the back of your hand move the lights up and/or increase your venting.

Comfortably numb!
Some use delta lights between veg and bloom. I am not a proponent of that practice. My veg is under a 300w light and bloom under 600w (3x3x6). Furthermore, I use PPFD to my advantage. e.g, I don't shock the $heet out of them, opting for a gradual increase of light intensity. I bloom @ 850-900 umol, where they have saw only 300-425 in the veg room. IMHO it is akin to vegging inside and shove them outside in full sun, vice partial shade to acclimate! :tiphat:

When I put out my outdoor plants I place them in the shade of trees for a few days to a week
to adjust before transplanting them under full sunlight. This cuts down on stress and leaf bleaching.

In my veg room I use 1000w metal halide dimmed down to 750w at about 4-5ft from plants. Moved my plants to flowering and put um under 645w gavita 1700e leds at 4ft+ away. Within 2.5 days my perfect looking plants now look like this. Still under 24hrs of light btw

2.5 days is very fast. You may have an issue that's not quite showing while in veg. Using RO perhaps, without a cal/mag like additive?

I see an overall light green, indicative of under feeding. Stripes from Mg, and leaves forming thinly at the base compared to older ones, with some distortion that is most likely Ca.

It looks like you don't increase the ec throughout veg, or when you move to the co2 enriched atmosphere. Did you also switch to bloom feed right away?

Any pics in veg?

edit: I see you posted while I was taping away.
Do you have a light meter? I don't think you are responding to the increased feed demand.

It's not my RO or my nutrients. Been growing at this house for 8 crops now and I have this problem everytime I bring my veg plants into my flower room. I've tried using same lights, less nutrient, more nutrients, low co2, no co2, nothing has worked so far. I check my runoff and the plants start locking out shortly after the switch. 2 runs ago I pitched my co2 burner for tanks thinking that was the issue because I run a sealed room.
Only veg pic I have is from 9 days ago but it's a healthy plant.

This exact question was asked and answered in another thread a couple days ago. Symptoms looked the same. Hang on I will find a link for you.

Plants always grow out of this stress in a week or 2 and after they grow healthy I start flowering and kill it just sick of the 2 week delay.

If it’s light intensity causing the issue, you pull some thin landscaping fabric across your canopy to provide shade for a couple days til the plants acclimate.

Shot in the dark.

Thanks moses for the link but we have similar issues but not the same. I'm going from sealed room to sealed room plus I watch my vpd.

My veg room doesn't have co2 but its connected to my flower room so I'll leave the door open during lights on in flower. Veg room is 80 deg 60% humidity. For about 12 hours after moving my plants over to flower room my humidity did drop to 48-50% before I added a humidifier but it's hard to believe that little bit had that drastic and still lingering effects.

My leds are 4ft away also, if that's to intense then shit, cant dim um unless I buy the parts $500ish fix.

That open door on the right is my veg room

Landscape fabric would be cheaper than new drivers..

Could try shading one plant with whatever kind of mesh you got layin around to see if that helps.. but at 4’ distance.. I dunno..

With those kinds of mystery issues, I’d look to off-gassing as a probable culprit.

Have you tried moving a plant outside of the flower room to see if it recovers?

Like others pointed out, its def light stress ...

Its the change from HID to LED...

Try to dim the led or put them RIDICOLOUSLY far away from the canopy for the beginning.....
I have mine almost 30 inches off of the suggested maximum distance..
Those gravità must be hella bright, without counting the overlapping of multiple fixtures....you got right there some powerful lights!:hotbounce

This problem has happened 8 crops in a row now and I've tried in the past dialing the light intensity down and that doesn't seem to help. I have a plant 10+ feet from the lights and it looks just as sad as the others.

I've even tried vegging my plants under hps lights and when I move rooms under same lights they still stress out.

Off the wall off-gas question. When I pick my flower room I dry the plants in my veg room which is connected to my flower room, all sealed together. Could my cut down drying plants be off gassing something that would make my live plants sick?

ethylene? I dont know if your harvest would put out enough to screw with your veg plants, but.. maybe?

If the culprit was a gas coming from your harvested plants, i would guess that it's ethylene.

I don't see why so many people are against periodically venting a sealed room. Takes a lot of guess work out of the equation.

But yeah, I doubt it too.
