hello IC i like some opinions on this....i cut 2 the chase...

last month alone i keep finding this on my soil surface ...about 4 times ....
it seem like a egg of some kind ...we can rule out any spiders coz they have webcocons...i think!..
it has a yellow color and its a kinda transparant...

i dont seem 2 have bugs in the soil ...yet...maybe i woz lucky and found the 3 eggs ...last pic is when it is squished....










anybody seen this before???

i guess its time 2 put the hydropellets back on top of the soil...

does your soil have any slow release ferts in it? when i've used miracle grow soil in the past to get 100's of seedlings going for outdoors i've seen little pellets like that and when u squish them liquid comes out....are you sure it's even an egg?

Theyre courtesy of your soil mfg. Some sorta wetting agent or time released fert of some kind. Not an egg.

yup we're sure....u could wait and try to hatch it if you'd like lol. my old grow partner knows about them forsure because i used to ask him "what is this"? then when he came for a closer look i'd squish it and squirt it on him lol.

Yep, those are slow release nitrogen pellets for sure.....unless you've spilled some paint pellets in there!!!!!

That is a slow release fertilizer pellet, probably Ozmocote brand , by the way it is EXCELLENT for long term feeding, you can get from I think 1 to 6 months of Ozmocote types.

EXCELLENT is pushing it.....but they do work good....personally i wouldn't use them for indoors but slow release ferts work decent outdoors.

if you have any soil that is still in the bag u can look through it and find quite a bit of them. take a look and give it a squeeze if u do.
