Soooo..... seems it's been a while since we've (it's just you bro) been here and it seems there has been a makeover....... funny, us too (still just you dude)!!!!

Okay so as it get's closer to the start of the "season" over here WRST is deciding to do another attempt!!!! (Only you're excited guy, chill). I have been doing lots of research and consulting with other growers that I know. We are going to do some things a little differently (awww no cut plastic bottle rig this time :( (shut up we did (STILL JUST YOU) the best we could)) this time which should greatly increase our chances of success....

So what are we doing differently this time (I'm starting to rethink the no offing rule bro..... )?

Tent set up: After talking and research I've decided that a tent might be necessary only so that I might have the most help cause lord knows we could use all we could get (clearly Mr. I talk to myself openly on the internet in front of ALL the strangers) right? After research and consideration I decided to stick to my original idea and get a starter kit from Vivosun which comes with a tent, vent system, and LED lighting kit.... price seemed decent for what I was getting in comparison to other vendors. Not to say other vendors aren't cheap or didn't come with the same stuff. One of the growers I consulted with had used their products and company in the past and couldn't remember any complaints so kind of sealed the deal for us (you just want some one to point a finger at, stupid human (YOU'RE NOT REAL!!!)) you can see the exact one I ordered here :)

Fresh soil: CONFESSION TIME!!!!! (Dear god don't there actually be any priests.... HIDE YOUR HOLES!!!!) We (you....) were not using the "freshest" of soils last time..... they were from another plant that someone else never started (which is why there was so much excitement when the Blue Razzy actually sprouted last time). FoxFarm seems to be the best of what is available in my area and given that I've seen the plants used with it...... I'm confident in this choice (he likes the convenience). For those unfamiliar with the brand, this will save you the google typing. They will also be used for the "newts" (again convenience).

Potting: Now here is where I haven't (FINALLY!!!) made a final decision ( @troutman or @exploziv feel free to chime in) ......... I know I'm using cloth pots but the argument is whether they should be 3 or 5 gallons..... I'm told that the 3 gallon should be fine but I do want to make this thing fat af! (which leads to.........)

Topping: I'm obviously going to have someone do it with me the first time. One of the consultants lives near by and agreed to help out but as I've decided to do the grow in doors (in a tent) I'm not going to get height so don't want to lose out on yield (he smokes a lot!!! (you know for someone so against us talking to the public you've said he a couple of times (shut up and get back to reality!!!! *palm forehead*))) so we (YOU!!! (Yeah but.... (REALLY PEOPLE WE'RE DONE!!!)) have decided to top this time 'round (great now he's a redneck ('ey listen here buddy..... (I don't want to be here anymore *palm forehead*))).

Let me know what you guys think and I can't wait to get started. Everything is on its way so as soon as stuff comes in and is assembled I'll be back with pics!!!! See you then and as always remember...... WRST!!!!

Sounds about right WRST, what strain will you be growing?

Free advice after learning the hard way:
1) When setting up your 1st tent, use a mallet to bang the sides/pieces close together. The WRST feeling after getting it all together is going to zip it up and finding that you need about 1 more inch to keep the zipper from tearing/straining.
2) Fox Farm and Happy Frog are great choices for soil, and both come FREE of fungus gnats, which cause nothing but grief 'til you fix the issue.
3) Use store bought Spring Water and you shouldn't have any issues with PH.
4) Make sure you have enough space between plants for good air circulation (no leaves touching).
Good luck, I'll be following along!:watchplant:

Hey @CosmicGiggle !!!!! Welcome to one of the WRST grows!!!!!

So yeah I definitely forgot that part I was going to mention so I am glad you brought it up. One of the other thing that I am changing from the last sad attempt, is that I am using clones this time that my buddy is able to get for me. I'm not sure which strain it is but he knows I am a huge indica fan so hoping he's gonna get something under that category. I do have some seeds from last season but not sure they're good anymore so decided to wait until the clones comes in.

I really appreciate all of your advice and will consider it as I go (they used WRST in the text, they're our new favorite (you're not real you don't get favorites (you know now is not really the time for this (ANYWAYS!!!!......)))). I will be starting with one plant at a time to make sure I actually know what I am doing so the space shouldn't be too much of an issue this time around. I definitely agree with the rubber mallet help while setting up as I have had to put pipes together before and well (don't get us started...... (but I'm already saying..... (well stop saying it!!!!))). I appreciate the advice about the water and definitely will be looking into that more as it makes perfect sense (trust issues (he doesn't even trust us (WE ARE PART OF HIS DELUSION IN HIS HEAD WHY WOULD-))).

I did just get an update on the tent this morning, and it should be here Friday so I definitely will be back then for pics and rants for you guys :) as always thank you for the advice and #WRST (spread it like covid!!!!) <3

Okie dokie here we go......

So first off big shout out to the guys n gals over at Grow Generation in Augusta. Knew what I was looking for and gave great advice.

Since we're gonna be doing clones we went with the Ocean Forrest for soil and as you can see we got a couple of newts we're gonna do. Let me know you're guys opinions and techniques on these products and I will be sure to update when the tent arrives and is set up.

As always, love you all and #WRST!!!!

Ooooooooook (Unnecessary (starting already I see (ENOUGH!)))...... We (just you) have been gone for a while but we are back......

Shoutouts/ Reviews: First off we have Vivosun for their awesome starter kid. Easy to set up (only one argument (big plus for us nothing got thrown(we done? (oh no blood either (I can't stand you guys.... we are doing a shout out not a history lesson))))) and not badly priced for everything that came with it. Definitely will be using them during the upgrade when we get to that point (Whoooole other thread somewhere else in the ICMag world)
Second we have Earthly Delights....... Yo that place was snazzy!!! (Wicked nice would not believe what was inside from the outside and I used to drive by it all the time (off topic(sorry))). Very friendly, honest staff, my original guy for the clone fell through but they hooked me up with this beautiful "Sugar Breath" clone. Shop itself was beautiful (check out the website it legit is the building (felt like we (just you bro..... literally you were the only one out the car and there were real people in the car.... jesus..... (OFF TOPIC)) were at a bank or something) lots and lots of products and selections. Let me know their cloning schedule so I can prep for next time. Overall a great place should you ever be in the area.

Plan: Now I know looking at the picture everyone is screaming, "WHY IS IT SO SMALL!!!!" and great question..... I am hoping for small fat plants (for now). I am hoping (get ready to find out how much of an idiot "we" are) that small fat plant means more potent...... worse comes to worse I'll just order a taller tent I really don't care. For tonight I am just leaving in the cup the way it is in the picture to "acclimate" to the new surroundings (yes we (Ima kill him (us(shut up!!!)) I swear) are babying the fuck out of it). I have it on a 12/12 light schedule (pure recommendation if it's wrong feel free to educate us (JUST.... you know what forget it you're an idiot). Watering once a week for the first month and then add appropriate newts thereafter. As always we (Mooorrrroooooonnnn) appreciate any and all advice and remember.... don't be a dick.... be the #WRST. Love you guys!!

Hey @exploziv ...... I literally just got it yesterday so whatever they were doing is behind us. I just put it from the cup to the aqua Forrest I have at home. The cup was still very damp so I did not add water when it was put in, figured I give it time to mix in with the new soil which is supposed to have the right newts in it for clones. I did get the spring water like @CosmicGiggle said and was gonna add some when the center dried out a little more (since it was said I over watered it last time). I will be getting a PH tester and have newts to add to the water at different stages. What do you recommend for my PH when I start testing it? Also was gonna get a soil tester but still didn't understand the purpose of it or why I would get one so any insight on that would be helpful as well. Much love homies and hommettes #WRST
