go to hawaii.. i remember when i went there for vacation, i took a helicopter tour and landed at this guys "lava house". years back when one of the volcanoes erupted, the lava flow destroyed his entire neigborhood except for a 1-2 acre plot of land around his house and only his house.. hes atleast 20 miles from anyone else. that 20 mile trek is over hardened lava flows, but at night you can see that theyre still red hot in alot of places, and alot of the flows are unstable and won't support much weight, and whats underneath them? flowing rivers of magma. im givin this guy a nice visit.

that or buy a nice 8 gauge and go zombie hunt'n. your never gonna get rid of them if no one goes to clean em up.

Face it the zombie thing is never really gonna happen and your country needs you.

Mind you if there were a load of zombies about, remember that they are not too good at stairs. Ladders are also good, a pair of steps being an alternative.

Another good tip is to stand the other side of a river from the zombie horde and watch them all fall in as they stagger towards the smell of fresh meat (you)... Repeat until they have all washed away.

i always tell my friends if Z day comes to find me because i plan on surviving. everytime i hear fire alarms sound i wonder if today is Z day. I have blue prints of my dorm facility as well as my home on reinforcement techniques. remove all wood at first start with doors cabinents anything you can get off to put on a window, this will only have to be temporary though. if your in a multi level house set the basement for supplies ground floor for preperation and second floor for zombie defense this way your above them and can drop things down. i suggest tying something heavy to a string so you can drop and then pull back up. a suite of armor of some kind would be great, maybe out of metal trashcans or pots and pans??? your goals are to stabilize a familiar area then move out. i personally would lay low and let the zombies handle the rest of the population so i could avoid being bothered. home depot is my ultimate goal, stock yourself up. start finding easily renewable resources. just some of the things ive put some thought into. as far as guns go, blades dont have to be reloaded.

the outbreak of zombies wouldnt spread very fast or far at all.so there wouldnt be a large number of them.think of it.. people know what zombies look like.. if you see a zombie stumbling towards you would simply run away from it.. and the armies and gun nuts would take care of the few zombies that are walking around... the only way an end of the world style outbreak would be possible ,is if the zombies could run fast like in 28dl or dotd04..thats the real danger.something charging at you full speed with the sole purpose of reproduction.. i think they would be able to run at full speed for a couple of days and then slowly degrade to walking zombies..its all about the runners man.. peace..
