Worldwide IT outage - do you have a phone connection? or whatever technology isn´t working today

So, I´ve still got internet (in europe) but I´ve been trying to use my mobile phone to make a call to a local landline and it just won´t work at all. It´s not even a smartphone or iphone.
A lot of stuff has gone wrong all over the world today due to this technical error.

land line works fine. don't own a cell phone. no problems here...
