used both, this works great on sugar trim. For bud's dry them out, really, really well.Then dry them some more.
I also trim over them and when breaking down branches from the dry-line to the jar.
catches anything that would be lost to the jar.

The hardest thing is keeping pet hair out of the sift, its like a magnet.
it just sucks it in..lol

Now who as a slow mo macro camera?
i want to see a resin gland burst open.

edit to add, also been testing out(time2shine's) the parchment wrapped around a dvd case trick,
if you only push one way, all the heads will stick to one side and contamination will stick to the other.
This is a great tech if you have already tumbled and have a pile of resin.
