Me and my lady decided to skip gift giving to each other this X-mas for financial reasons, but at least I can be grateful for another great year here on ICmag. Merry Chrismahannaquanzica (Chris-ma-hanna-quanz-i-ka) and a Happy New Year.

I don't know what it is about the holidays that makes one look back on the last year and think, Where was I then...
..
...I guess it's the New Year that makes me ponder on what was and what is to come....
....
Renewed of Hope and some Happiness leaking in after last year finding out my Mother had a terminal brain tumor and was expected to pass in April and did... I am back online more than I have been in a while and when I see threads like, Where are we as a community it makes me ponder...
"To know where one is, I thinks its important to remember where one came from...."
I was disappointed last year of crap that went on online... breeders and friends of being photo'ed and blackmailed at the 05 cup, by fellow members of this site... ....a well known breeder left the site and took nearly half the members with him leaving a bombshell of a lie to undermine the trust of Admin... .....shortly after that a attempted forced take over of our site put us on the outside and caused the cancelation of the cup 06...
..... Witnessing the demise of OG and CW, with a flood of new members that really didn't choose to come here, they just were stuck 'cause their home was gone....
............WOW.........
...and yet many original members remain, we have gained some Awesome members too and we are thriving as a community IMVHO....
Things have changed yes, but for the most part the community spirit has remained the same...
.....We are here because we love cannabis
...
and when people love the same thing it should cause a bond not cause striff...

.......but I will take the opportunity to say that... "I am truly grateful and indebted to you... Gypsy, DG and staff..... for having somewhere to communicate with like minded people...... who have gathered in this virtual community I now call home".
Maybe one day in the future I will have the pleasure of your company to return the favour..... not to mention some down under flavour!
