Winter Beards and their deaths...

I grew a bushy ass Tom Selleck mustache but I aint shaving that thing. It's a testament to Magnum PI, and regardless of what you hear women like a nice mustache ride. I do however shave well south of the border

My facial hair is like a mangy dog. Hair grows in nasty looking patches. I have to shave regularly...

I always wanted a ZZ Top beard to go with my cheap sunglasses :sasmokin:

I used to have that problem, but if you let it go for awhile the patches do fill in. But you will look like a mangy dog for about six months.

I have been working on my ZZ top for 7 years...No way i'm shaving till I get a Gillette commercial.

Yeah......I let the facial topiary grow wildly like a weed for sometime occasionally......they I get the Mach 3 out and hack thru it.....
Save yourself the trouble of "Hacking" through your beard and pick up a good ole "Safety Razor".... just like spies used to hide microfiche in the handles of. :D

Even if you don't take the time to use it well enough for a really close shave (they take a bit of practice)... it's awesome for just carving through a thick beard like butter. I won't shave my pubes with any other razor anymore either. :D

Stay Safe! :tree: :blowbubbles:

Edit: Forgot to mention... 100 blades for these razors cost about $20. Modern razors are garbage and clog waaaaay to quickly for the money you pay. LOL

Frank, I can relate to the facial hair as chalkboard. Been rocking the 'winter' beard for about 3 years now. :)
Shaved it off maybe 2-3 times, only because of a slip of the hand during a trim. The jaw bone line-up usually gets me. But I tend to leave it be, gets thick and full, then I trim it back down to clean it up a little.

lol true Arctic. The long hair helps too but I'm much better looking than that other rasputin! :D

Me & a couple of the homies, I trimmed it up a little for the occasion.

I'm in my twenties, and have about another 20-30 years before I'll be able to grow anything resembling a beard.

Maybe I could go to hormone therapy. If those transgender people can grow pretty respectacle beards with testosterone shots, why couldn't I? (not to diss them and their treatmens, but I quess that way it could be possible to increase facial hair to some extension, don't know is it geno- or phenotype thing. Hormones allow you to certain point?)

Btw, about the pic, are those things nosehairs or mustache?

I always grow a winter beard normally starting in Nov. Its too cold still to cut it off yet, not until maybe April.

a useless :) fact about a beard....before firefighters had tanks and what not thery were required to have a beard back in the day, they would dip them in water and put them into there mouths to use as a filter to help breath;)....
