That’s what I had heard. Did it go through tissue culture or get cleaned up? Is it just the same cut but many years apart?

I think it’s from Black Rabbit Farms and the won the sour competition with it.
Black rabbit farms seems to be the source but afficianado has released a seedline.
supposed to be the original AJ cut held by a guy that never dropped it. AJ has a new/different one now that goes purple.
We jokingly call that one the grape sour in our circle lol

I think afficinado just sells the clone. I was looking through Black Rabbit on ig and he says that the terps are close but not the same as in 2000 and it’s harder to dial in now.
He’s got some good info on it.
oh shit, the aj goes some purple too? is the aj the same as what cloney calls the original 90s sour d that i saw someone call "weasel diesel" (which is confusing because didn't weasel also create daywrecker aka original diesel?)?

This looks identical to what was passed to me as the Albany, several years ago. I ended up losing it way too soon, due to some super borg that came in on a GDP cut. What's the smell/taste like on this one after cure? I just pulled out what I saved of the seeded branches last night, and it has the lemon head thing going on for sure. Both in smell, and taste, just not as sweet. It had the same kind of variegation as this one, and looked pretty much dead on (but a bit leafier due to running outdoors). I dont know about the Albany but the chaco ecsd looks just like the wing wang with a little more space between the nodes and more of that slight citrus. Wing Wang flowers a little faster and has a more skunky smell to me.
It got tested and genotyped as unrelated to one of the AJ tho

I miss typed it I meant to say it tested as un related to one of the ajs and very close to ecsd and sour d, as well as an entry named NYC sour d
