Fluoride was first rebuked by the John Birch Society - not a scientist in the bunch. JBS didn't dispel fluoride for physiological reasons. It's because "government did it" (so it's socialism) i.e. communism i.e. an-end-to-the-western-way-of-life yada yada and yackity schmackity.

I live in a small town. Our water engineer's name is Keith. I asked Keith why our tap water measures only 5 or 6 ppm. He laughed and said he doesn't put anything in our water beyond the chemicals to clean it.

Keith says 30% of the town has dentures or partials because 2% of the town makes enough noise to keep fluoride out of the town budget. He says Birchers used to imagine that fluoride was a mind-reading chemical so that gub knows who's communist.

Birchers are afraid of communism - you'd think they'd want our minds read so we could root out all the commies. - sarcasm off.

Anywhoos, when Birchers were laughed off because of the whole "mind reading" baloney, they started saying it's poisonous. Keith says practically every chemical used in treatment is poisonous yet the final product isn't.

Another reason he says the argument that fluoride in tap water being poisonous is bullshit, the same, noisy townsfolk who fear fluoride also protest shit like calcium supplements.

It's a retirement community and these poor old stoop-shouldered codgers could use some calcium (about 30 or 40 years ago.)

If you're worried about fluoride, vote GOPer. They want to end the EPA and that'll make stuff like fluoride the last of your worries. After they frack your neighborhood you'll be able to bbq in the kitchen sink.

Sorry mate but fluoride is proven in so many places all over the world that its basicly its a silent killer, even china have stopped adding it to water and only 2%of the EU still use it, calcium usable mineral vits i see no reason why shouldnt be add but sodium fluoride dose not help with teeth or bones, the fact it builds up in our bodys an cause the bone to become more brittle as we age, ive seen several studies from all over the globe, you dont have to believe it but it fact, FLUORIDE FUCK YOU UP! as for fracking in the uk so dont have to deal with the likes of that.. yet

from what i read, fluorides will not burn, combust or explode , even when at extremely high temps, i believe some flourides are used to super heat things, as so much heat can be conducted.

i imagine it would remain and be detectable in the ash?

as i said tho,water shouldnt be a worry when it comes to plants as the phosphates in plant foods are much richer sources of fluoride

ive read that iodine rapidly removes fluoride from the body but also calcium and magnesium so make sure you keep on top of these if you do decied get some iodine supps,

it seems the melting point of sodium fluoride is a whopping 993 degrees C , so unless youre eating your herb you shouldnt get any fluoride as it should be left behind in the ash
