will a autoflower pollinate a non auto female under 24/0?

I am growing 2 auto flower plants and I have one female non auto in veg. all 3 of them are on a 24/0 lighting schedule, one of the auto's is a male, is it possible for the non auto female to be pollinated by the male auto even though the female is not on 12/12 or flowering? And will being exposed to male pollen somehow induce flowering in the female even under 24/0 or is my female safe?

Thanks guys

It depends on whether your female has pistils or not....

Females can have preflowers with pistils with 24 lighting...

If they have pistils then only some preflowers would have any chance at all...

IME plants are more sexually stable when they have a short dark cycle....

Like 20-4

The way little canna babies are made....

When a viable pollen grain lands on a pistil...

The pollen grain germinates and rapidly grows down the pistil until it reaches the egg...

and a seed is born......

NO pistils....

no seeds....

yup what he said and ur best bet is that if u wana keep ur male for breeding purposes then you should set up something where it canbe by its lonesome. u would want the chance of getting a fully seeded crop would u? as umight know (or not) if a plant gets seeded while its in the flowering stage all/most of the plants flowering energyt will be devoted twards seeds. theirfor the bud that would grow would be almost worhtless as far as potenance. but no a poss fem plant cannont be seeded by a male plant that isnt in flower. but what can happen is if u leave it in there and the pollen sacks open and spread the pollen around ur space, and if u dont clean the whole spot there could be a chance of polleb getting into ur fem once it does start... would be bad news for u. best advice get that male out of ur spot and isolate it. hope this info helps

if it's 24 hour light the male wont pollinate the female because the non auto will not be flowering...you cannot pollinate a plant while it's in veg...at best you may get a few fertilized preflowers but no, you will not pollinate your female that way.

also 24 hour light isn't optimum, you would be better off using 18/6 or better yet 12/5.5/1/5.5

If its not possible to pollinate a plant in veg....

then it wouldnt be possible to fertilize a few preflowers...

preflowers are flowers in every sense of the word.....
