Well I forgot to mention that I did have my revenge so to speak, in my own way at least.

While I most certainly hate this lady for what she did me, I can't necessarily blame her for her beliefs. Seem strange? Well, the way I look at it is that the US government has spent decades and billions of dollars on "Educating" the population on the evils of marijuana. She is only going by what she has been told by the powers that be, from the mouth of her own government. My own mother hates pot, but I don't hate her for it.

So instead of doing something evil, that knowing my luck, would only backfire on me and I'd end up in jail, I decided to educate her myself. I printed out a 20 page document on the medicinal uses of Cannabis in attempts to show her the errors of her ways, and I left it on her door step.

To me at least, I had the final word.

i feel for you. i hate the snooty people that come with living in the city.
i would have told them in my meeting that i smoked a clove(eucalyptus rolled) outside, and got inside an elevator with them.
she was in no way right, but keep in mind if you smoke a joint or blunt, you will smell like green very very strongly. If someone does not smoke cigarettes or dont have a cold they will smell it. It also seems the combo of paper/tobacco from joints/blunts make an even more unpleasant smell, rather than if you were just smoking bowls
don't waste you're time with petty revenge. Its not worth it. You are the bigger man, you proved that by not saying a word for 30 floors. I would be for something so petty, but classic. a good ole fart to the face

Yeah this is true. I don't why some people are like that, but she really did try to destroy me, and she made up lies that she had no evidence to back up. Which is why I probably still have a place to live, because they had no evidence to evict me on, and there were no other complaints made about me.

And yeah my mom hates pot. Dad was a big lover of the herb, and the fact that she now has 4 kids that all smoke it probably drives her crazy! She doesn't like that we smoke, she doesn't want to be around it, but she would never narc me out! gotta love moms.

My advice is analyze what you did wrong not her. If you think this is the only person that feels the way she does you are way out of touch. Not sure of your age but many people of my era feel the same as she does. You can only control yourself not others so trying to understand why she thinks the way she does in my opinion is wasted time. You need to use this experience to say, " I made the mistake not her" I am not condoning what she did just trying to help if you intend on growing again. To get caught up in the “F” her attitude won’t solve what happened.

Understand pot smells and to hop on the elevator after blowing a fatty with a grow in your apartment. Give that a second thought for the next grow you do. I am a family man and I never smoke in my car, in my house, in my neighborhood and it took me a long time to realize its my responsibility not someone else’s. Take the time to find a good spot to enjoy the fruits of your labor. If you didn’t grow different story but we are talking about your freedom here. Look within not on the outside for the answers.

I know I know you didn’t think your mom was on IC Mag but we can all learn from the things we heard from our mothers.

I can't even really agree with that, it's not like you weren't subjected to the same government propaganda that she was. Unlike you, though, she decided to take the government's word for fact and do no thinking or experimenting for herself. While I agree that you have to minimize your risks (not entering an elevator right after blazing), I think it is ridiculous to justify her point of view.

Dis, water curing kills the odor of the bud and the smoke. Consequently there is no odor on you. You could make a 'stealth stash' to smoke before going out into the public. That should keep the spies away in the future.

I would knock right on her door and ask her if she would like to make the same unsubstantiated, libelous, slanderous, discriminatory statements ( i.e. all things she could be sued for ) to your lawyer with a clerk of the court present. What makes you and I so much better than this lady? We are all devices of our environment to some extent. You have ancient tribes running around with so many plates around their neck it forces their collarbone down making them look like they have 2-foot necks. When we look at that we say, What the F*** is up with these people. We all grow up differently and if we expect others to have an open mind we should too.

I want more people like this woman in my neighborhood. I have no use for the ones that let crime go on in name of "none of my business". Well guess what it will be sooner or later if you let it keep going on. Is she misguided, yes in my opinion but all she knows is its an illegal drug which it f***king is so blame the government not the lady who is trying to be a good neighbor.

I had it made.

I had a nice little setup that was producing all the smoke I needed, and then some. Zero smell, Zero tell with the exception of my girl that lives with me. Didn't sell shit, didn't need to.

But I fucked up, and I am here to share my story

I moved into a new apartment (high rise) about 6 months ago. I live close to a river, and sometimes in the evenings I would go outside with a good book and a joint and chill by the river to read and relax. Well after doing this one night about six months ago I came back into the lobby, got on the elevator and was headed for home. A woman and a man got on the elevator with me.

Almost immediately the woman begins making comments to the man about the “Aroma” on the elevator and how people that use drugs disgust her. I just smiled and bit my tongue and didn’t say anything. She continued making comments to the man, not actually saying anything directly to me, just dismissing me as if I wasn’t worth speaking to directly, but intentionally trying to hurt me with her words. I live 30+ floors up, and it was the longest elevator ride of my life. But I didn’t want to start a fight so I didn’t say anything.

Fast forward one week

I see her in the hallway. She makes a remark about how people like me shouldn’t be allowed to live here. Unfortunately, this is when my temper got the better of me, and I told her to fuck off and walked away.

A couple of days later I get a voice mail from the management of the building saying that there have been some complaints and they would like me to come in to discuss the matter. So I immediately tore down my grow, boxed all of my plants up and my equipment up, and moved them to a friend’s house for safe keeping until I could see what was going on.

I went in to speak with management, and apparently the lady had told them I was a drug dealer, selling drugs out of the apartment building. I told them that accusations are completely false, that I have a good job with a very reputable company, and I have nothing to do with drugs whatsoever. They basically took my word, but assured me drugs would not be tolerated. Not that I consider pot a "drug" in the bad sense anyways.

So it's been six months, still not growing here, and no plans to. It could have been a whole lot worse, but I lost my means to supply myself with meds and that's bad enough. We are moving again soon, and I will be able to resume then, but it has been a rough six months.

Anyways, just thought I would share a story about how one wrong move can screw up your life.
