CHANCE is the white dog that gets fucked up by the porcupine, sassy is the cat, and shadow is the g.retriever. i had to look it up for the retriever, jake is the kid? i duno, but what i do remember, is i saw it in theaters when i was a kid.that is fucking crazy. as i saw the picture i said old yeller, come back yeller (in a singing voice)... then i was like that wasnt old yeller. thats the movie homeward bound. and its chase that gets fucked up by the porcupine not jake (the golden retriver). that cat was a bitch by the way.

sounds liek you all are talking about 'the incredible journey' but the character names you are familiar with are not familar to me.... maybe i am thinking of the wrong story abut 2 dogs and a cat who travel across the country....

A lot of times dogs can be so loyal to their owners that they will attack animals to protect them. Though most of the time they are just curious and tried to play with it, then when they get hurt the actually start to attack.
I have a 50/50 German Shepard/wolf, and I swear he is the biggest baby of a dog I have ever seen. He is so submissive and loving. He can't get enough of people and will forcibly push his head against you to make you pet him.
Though when it comes down to it he is VERY protective. Me and my brother used to go shroom hunting in a big cow pasture, and he would always follow us and scare off herds of cattle.
Once, he ripped the horn right out of a goats head (it was my aunts) and killed it. He also used to kill chickens and bring them up to the house, amongst various bones he found (cow and whatnot). Though you would absolutely never guess he was capable of that and was never once attempted to harm any humans what so ever. The sweetest dog I have ever know, though at the same time is the most protective. He even looks after our cats and they always curl up and sleep with him,and he will groom them if they get dirty or anything. Its really cute, the strangest and most caring dog I have ever had.

I can probably guess what happened, poor courious pup had a sniff and got spiked became angry decided to kill the porcupine no matter how much it hurt.
Same happened to my boxers and a hedgehog, they pretty much ate the whole hedgehog except for the spines.
May not be a bad idea to flea and worm your pup just incase...oh yeah and find a new vet, who wants to put down a healthy dog??

Damn dude!!! Your poor puppy!! Thats alot of quills man, glad to her there doing well.......and fuck the vet, wish you could introduce him to that porcupine, see if he likes a face full of quills...........and Id also bet my left nut that the vet would feel like "killing" that porcupine after words too!!! what a monster!!!

Honestly I thought it made her look distinguished, like she should have a pipe in her mouth in robe. Teaching life lessons by a fire place, like don't eat porcupines, the shit hurts. Then your left with a shit load of whiskers that make you look like your 12 instead of 5 and in your prime.
