Why haven't you moved to a medical state?

Me and my pet 'brown recluse' spider, his name is Mike, we're moving to a med state soon because Mike needs to get his medical card... He loves to get stoned too.

If I don't keep a close eye on him, he'll sneak all my good buds... I gotta find a new stash place...

Got bit by a brown recluse in Missouri while sleeping. Woke up about 3a.m. feeling sick, went to bathroom and threw up. Where it bit looked like someone punched you with two small knuckles. Eventually turned into about a silver dollar sized scar that looks like a burn with a depression that's about a sixteenth of an inch deep. Looked like a slow motion acid burn on the skin. The wound didn't hurt at all but for two days mentally it was like the last half of an acid trip, you're still energized and don't want to sleep. A Dr. Gave me a few days of Valium for it and an anti-biotic.
And there are huge differences in care for recluse bites, mainly the wound care. Friend of mines family all work at this hospital as nurses mostly and they've seen several doctors recommend removing the affected tissue, like it will help somehow. Just makes the divot larger.

Damn that's some Natural Born Killers shit!!! I've heard snake and spider bites make you trip out due to the venom. That's some scary shit! I don't fuck with critters like that up North, thank god. Must be nice to get bit in the middle of nowhere. Before you die you trip your sack off and freak out. Yikes!!

:tiphat: Sounds very very close to my experience. I don't want to have another one. I was bitten while I was working outdoors. The scar remains apparent after 15 years.

I'd agree with a previous post; I'd rather be someplace cold and not have to deal with venomous or predatory reptiles.

my cousins farm in the midwest has snakes and brown recluses all over the place. like in the house. they're like house spiders to them there. they didn't seem very concerned about being bit and dying and shit. it's possible this danger may have been blown out of proportion. i caught one with my bare hand. they're spiders like all the rest. they tend to run away from you. i prefer to be warm. plus the spiders here are way cooler than anything i saw in the midwest, minus this wolf spider i caught once. down here first day i see a spider that looks like a little crab covered in spikes with a grinning skull on it's back. lol lemme find a pic.
