why don't most scrog?

I do think you should try the SCROG with the Boggle. But anyway, good luck. I hope you some fantastic herb and have fun making it too. And always remember, LISTEN TO THE PLANT.

In my opinion SCROG is a good way reduce the number of plants and, depending on the shape of your grow cab, a good way to control plant height and maximize light exposure to multiple branches. In terms of yield I do not think it compares to SOG or taller modular grows, but these methods have disadvantages: The former increases the number of plants and the latter requires a lot of height.
 
scrog is great but if you have the space it is easy enough to control the canopy height of your plants with LST alone. Gives you a little more variance as well in the canopy since you can move things around unlike the static nature of the screen. I was going to use it in my rubbermaid setup but I decided to just break the branches and use LST to get the same effect without the screen.
