Since ICmag servers are overseas, subpoenas for any data by the US LEO would be just ignored. Although ICMag claims they remove any meta data from pics before they are posted, I imagine most posters remove any before it before posting pics of personal grows just to be safe. Largely because of the harsh draconian laws where I live, I personally just prefer not posting pics of my grows, but it actually it should be safe here.

They would need to get your IP from icmag office in Europe and a court there would have to make them turn it over. Would never happen.

using grow pictures in an actual court room is not a small deal
there has to be convincing evidence that they haven't been copied from some where or other such things
for what the prosecutor’s would get, the legal return is likely quite small
now major grow ops that 100+ plants, that's a different deal
i have seen a few busted posts where the pics where used in the initial charges, but didn't go much further than that

The big risk is if you get popped, for some other reason. Then they can access all your files on your computer, your web history, etc. That HAS happened to more than one weed forum poster over the years. But, the instances I know of, they got busted for other reasons, another security issue. The computers were confiscated after the arrest. I've always trusted meta data removal. Maybe one shouldn't. I've never been concerned with a few pics here and there. But, I wouldn't even take pictures on your phone or digi camera with x,xxx plant grows. Not even for personal keeping, never to upload to weed forum. You don't want that kinda shit on ya if ya get popped, even though it would be cool as fuck to have ...

I also say, fuck em! If the bitches want to come and get you, they will... No need for IP for that. I don't think any forum will be their main lead in an investigation, more likely someone snitching or just jaw flapping till the rumor meets the wrong ears. Personally, I think posting pics in the forum is safer than telling a friend about your grow..
