Hey Pootsmcgoots,
I've been following this plant in your other thread. Hope this isn't anything serious. You think maybe it's to much nutrients? Maybe the lights are to close? I've got no experience, so this is just stuff I'm guessing at. Anyway, best of luck!

hey buddy, im not really sure whats going on. i havent added any nutrients to them yet. i was gonna probably start either tomorrow or the next day beings im almost to week 3 of flowering. it might be light burn but they are really that close, maybe about 3 to 4 inches away from CFLs. hopefully someone will know whats going on. thanks for following pal, best of luck to you and your grows.

I'm kind of thinking it's a heat issue, even with cfl. Any idea what the temps are?

If its only at the top of the plant, then yes dude check your temps.
Usually if only the top is affected its heat from the lights,if its every where then try flushing.

I'd say you should have already started feeding them... Feed them, they'll darken up.

That's my guess...

I think heat issue as well.
might be due to lack of ventilation. that what it looks like to me.

Start feeding your plants!!!! Why would you of not fed yet 3 weeks into flower???? That sould like madness to me. If your tops are really close to the light source that yellow heat burn will happen. I would get them a little farther away from the lights and FEED THEM!

My apologies for being brief, When the heat is too intense the leaves transpire too quickly leaving them drier and easies to burn,(papery) so the light literally begins to cook and dehydrate the leaves.

Correct me if Im wrong but if it is heat? did the leaves initially begin to curl from the outsides in like little canoes? this was in another thread as well but the question was,why do leaves canoe :) I quite liked that question :)

i pulled it down more from the light and started feeding. and yes the leaves curled up. hopefully tying it down keeps it far enough away from the light. also i added a fan blowing across them.

Good stuff, the fan is something I should of suggested as I have one myself (it will rock your socks) what the fan does.

Good to hear your going good.

It sound like the yellowing was limited to the area shown in your photo and did not spread. Well that's good news! :)

Lets be more clear here, leaves that have once yellowed will not darken back up to green, but your new growth should show a more lush green.

yea the yellow is mainly on the leaves on the cola, im just worried about the buds getting damaged but i dont see any hairs on the buds curled up. i think.. hope feeding them makes the buds stay luscious and not dry out from the heat. with that fan blowing on them the temps went down to about 76-77.
