Clearly something is very, very wrong in the system when infant mortality in many third world countries is LOWER than the US. Hospitals are obviously doing it wrong.

Even in Britain Kate went home 10 hours after giving birth. I was amazed. Granted she had the very best, expensive, medical care and legions of help though.

my dad got like a $40k bill for this incident,

and start cutting up my pa with no anaesthesia

then the doc left him on the fucking table for hours.





course, since both he and i are so widely respected in society, complaining about it (i swear the dude has spend like 10 years in the local fbi offfice filing against electronic harassment from the govt) surely that asshole will get away with the whole thing and my father gets stuck with a huge bill for being mercilessly tortured by some prick.





i wish that i hadn't heard that story a dozen times before it happened to my father.

This is why I am a hardcore libertarian. I hate big pharma, I hate the legal system, and I hate doctors in general. The moment they think you know too much, they become hesitant to prescribe you anything since you must be lying. Ive only taken regular medicine once, called "alimemazin". The hangover from it was worse from the anxiety.

Personally I got out of the shithole by just quitting previous occupations, getting back to training, eating healthy and sleeping more. Cannabis is excellent to use when you feel down. I never had any memory issues from getting sad or from cannabis. I still toke weed with ibuprofen though and sometimes supplement with 5-HTP. I think that would be enough for serotonin/neurogenesis.

Thats not entirely fair to say because some people don't have any underlying issues to solve that will make the symptoms go away. Others get underlying issues due to the symptoms. Others can't handle the issues due to the symptoms.

They're not addressing the failure of antidepressants because they're refusing to see them as failures. Several of the newer drugs being advertised on tv are just repurposed anti depressants.

Cymbalta - Stated as something for depression and anxiety but is now being pitched on tv as something to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, or chronic muscle or bone pain.

Another example is Wellbutrin which started as an anti-depressant but now is more commonly used to help people quit smoking.

It's like they just tried this stuff on people and if it didn't work as expected they looked for whatever interesting side effects it had and put it back out there as a medicine for that.
