why are leaves pointing straight up?

Is that tin foil? if so it may be a hotspot created by that. Emergency blankets are better than foil.

I was thinking more along the lines of temps, RH, PH, EC/PPM, airflow, how often are you feeding, how often are you watering, age, etc...

BTW, where is the "rubbermaid tub setup" at? All I see is some beer cups

What you see is probably the inside of the rubbermaid tub. :wink:

seems like everything is alright they flattened out after a feeding

Had one do that to me too. Folded up like an umbrella. Freaked me out. It was (I think) a watering issue. Was letting them dry out real well before watering and the one morning I found my best one like that. Watered and throughout the day I noticed it dropping its leaves back into place.
