Both President musk and ramaswamy are already pushing hard for more H1-B Visas. They claim that there are not enough Americans to fill the positions but what the real motivation is they can pay these immigrants 50% less for working 50% more hours.
Ever wonder why so many companies have their networks hacked and data stolen? A good portion of that is due to inside activity not from an external entity just hacking into the network. These H1-B workers have access to sensitive data, critical infrastructure. We need less of them not more. There are plenty of qualified US workers to fill the positions but greedy billionaires like musk want even more. Replacing US workers with lower paid immigrants can lead to cost savings of $100 million a year or more when you have thousands of employees.
musk and ramaswamy: Seal the damn border! Don't let anyone in! By the way, we want more H1-B Visas so we can bring more people in. There are no US citizens to fill these positions "snicker snicker hee hee hee" so let us have "OUR" immigrants that will work for half the salary we're paying the US workers that are not available "hee hee hee".
