Imagine how good it would be if you were to log onto Icmag 1 day to find out Sam is gonna re-release the RKS (Pre-Sweet) Skunk.
I'm sure it would be a much welcomed reunion from those who had the pleasure of growing + smoking this back when it was available,
and for the new growers who've never encountered a terpanoid profile such as the one which is locked + held within this gem, a chance to finally discover just what all the talk is about.
If you'd like to see it re-released please vote yes (or no as the case may be), you never know - your 1 vote could be the vote that makes all the difference.

peace

I'd love to have a skunk right about now, my only concern would be scent during flowering. ANy special precautions need to be made? Or does it not stink as much during the grow?

I wish the people who voted no would explain that line of thought.

I just can't imagine why not.

I voted no because Sam has expressed that he is not interested in doing this. I respect his decision. I think people should take inspiration from Sam and search for their own unique genetics.

He talked about what it would take to do it right ,but also mentioned that he wasn't interested in doing such a project.Largely in part to the genetics whoring that goes on. Im sure may people have asked him about this over the years. But i voted yes .I can still remember the attributes of the old skunks. It would be nice to share with a friend who has never had it.You could probably find one yourself ,but it will take "alot" of seaching through plants,It prolly be easier to just find someone with the beans.Im sure someone here has them.

Whats the problem with a release? Is it jealous hoarding? I've always loved the skunky reek. I honestly like the smell of skunk when I smell it on the road!

I remember reading that a major reason why he discontinued it was that the smell was seeping through brick walls and people were getting busted.

some people think that sams attitude stinks as bad as that rks ,and could care less to buy from him when the are other strains avalible like from canancopia and there deep chunk cross or the reeferman double skunk seed

look totaln00b i already know Sam has said he's not interested at this time, but he also mentioned that doesn't mean it won't happen sometime in the future. Just because i started this thread that doesn't mean i disrespect Sam's decision as you mentioned, quite the opposite mate, i've got 100% respect for Sam, it doesn't hurt to ask questions in life ya know.

There aint nothing wrong with asking tho Babbabud, if everyone went with the flow and kept quiet in life without asking questions we'd get nowhere,

I would like for sam to breed some rks, But Its not in his wishes , so i would say no. Plus if hes going to make a comeback from his "break" , Imo I would like to see some new stuff not the genes he bread out.

From what I'm told there was never any rks ever released. Most of what we smoked back then was road kill afgahn. Ga afghan was some stinky herb in he late 80's it was everywhere most though it was skunk, I did.....

Skunk smelling weed is as appealing as purple weed, as is candy smelling weed, and all of those aspects have the same ability to get you just as high. Which, btw is NADA!

Just my 2 pfennigs...but I think we need to get a grip.
