It doesn't sound like you kept your cool. No need to say the F word in that transaction, and no reason to shout. Calling the officer 'BUDDY' is disrespectful, and it's certainly untrue that the cop needs a WARRANT to look through the window to see what's in plain sight. Frankly, if you're relating this as it occurred you need to tone it down. There's no requirement for emotional involvement in order to preserve your constitutional rights.
Pythagllio, I am Canadian. In our country, you need a warrant to search a car - the officer was in the vehicle without my permission. Also, saying "Buddy" is not disrespectful in Canada, it's a common way to refer to people. Additionally, we don't have "constitutional rights" in Canada, we have charter rights. Furthermore, in Canada, we don't have to cower and fear cops like in America - the guy deserved to be sworn at for violating my rights, just as anybody would. What, because he's a cop I'm supposed to be extra nice? Fuck that!
