Sensi's Afghani I think is a 100% pure Afghani. It finishes in like 45 days.

Deep Chunk is good, but it's not MLI... [maple leaf indica]... tons of people forget about this strain. It's my favorite Indica and my favorite to make edible goods out of... MLI cooking oil, budder, etc... is the bomb!

Once again, Deep Chunk is good... but it doesn't really hold a candle to the crazy MLI..

If vegged for a considerable ammount of time, Deep Chunk can and will give a decent yield..

some people just CANT admit theyre wrong..
unbelievable.....

OG KUSH IS NOT LANDRACE KUSH (hindu kush)

@Nandro--the deep chunk is pure afghani, and thats what the thread starter wanted to know.. pure aghanis arent known to be huge yielders..

look at suge's pure kush cut

for sure cant wait to try that MLI i hear so many good things i think it may just be time to scoop some

when was the last time you picked up sensi stock and how were the germ rates on that MLI when ya did?

be well my friend, and welcome back!

Deep Chunk is one-of -a -kind
But it´s not for the hurry-up guys
It´s an outdoor strain that can be grown indoors easily, but has some disadvantages....excessively protruding fan leafs being one.... :joint:

Hey Raco! Just wondering what size containers you used, how long veg, dry weight per plant (roughly). oh and did you trim any fan leaves at all to get better light down under. just want to get a rough idea on what to expect. Nuggler

Danknuggler,
In this case,I´ve used a 8 liter pot for the plant shown first, and for the second girl too. Then I transplanted the 2nd girl to 25 liter pot,not empty though.I vegged them for 8 weeks and they flowered 50 days or so.I harvested another one by 42 days.I didn´t remove fan leaves.
The girl in the smaller pot yielded 25 grams fully manicured and dry.The girl in the bigger poy yielded less, around 2o grams or so...both were super :yoinks:

are those trichs on the underside of the curl of the leaves? one of the pics tom hill has of the chunk looks just like that, with the cupped leaves. the trim should make some nice bubble! Nuggler

MK ultra used an inferior OG CUt, if it was authentic at all. There is a touch of the similar bud structure to the OG, in someof the Phenos of MK, and the MK is potent, but the taste differs intensely, and the buzz is more of a boring bulldozer (strong) not so narcotic as the oG can be.

OG is not a real "Kush," it is a 70/30 hybrid, if not 60/40... Also, there are different phenos of the Kush out there. The leaves of the OG do look Hindu Kushlike, there may be a distant ancestor in there.

Taskenti from CannaBiogen may be a landrace. Looks interesting.

MK is just OK, and I gave it all I had. It was strong but uninspiring, although the yield outdoors in a greenie was considerable. One pheno was Trainwreck like in flavour, but yielded much more. That was my favourite one. A clone of one of the other phenos was a low yielder, but had the most complex taste of any other weed I can remember.

The Sage n Sour makes up for any wide pheno, weird flavours that the MK phenos deal out. WOW. Good work TH SEEDS. Thank you,

A while back I did a run of some Afgani Kush, pretty good if you're looking for a solid afgani... not sure who offers it in seed form but it's worth keeping if you can find it...

On the note of OG, it's to my understanding that it's derived from Chemdawg and not really much of a kush at all...

yeah. This seams to be the craze. One breeder came across a Kush Pheno then others wanted to cash in so they made they good strains and slaped a KUSH label on it and said "here buy these beans for $100 a pack". Its like people refuring to great seedless top of the line pot as chronic. Where as the rest of the pot with seeds is mursh. Since there strains are nice they call it kush and make that $$$ like no othe,r but Emery lol.

I read in previous pages of this post that Afghani #1 is not pure Afghani. This is what Sensi Seeds had to say.

Dear Cannabis Enthusiast,

We think this question has been addressed on the Sensi Seed Bank forums (see link below).

A forum member thought they’d seen another strain guide mention that there was Skunk #1 in Afghani #1, but this is incorrect.

Afghani #1 is bred from very similar, old Afghani lines, making it a pure Afghani Indica. It is a hybrid, but its parents are taken from very similar gene-pools, so it is it homogenous and stable.

There's no Skunk in the hybrid, and there is no mention in any of the old Sensi catalogues that Afghani #1 has Skunk in it, so we think this is mixed up information from someone other than Sensi Seeds.

A possible source of confusion is Super Skunk – this is a hybrid of Skunk #1 and an Afghani plant (and the Afghani parent is a relative of Afghani #1).

Warmest Regards,
Sensi Seed Bank
