My issues have always been due to lack of climate controls. RH and Temps mainly.
85F/80+RH in veg. Be mindful of mold though. Should have a proper IPM regiment already in place, already in use on your mothers. Cannot stress that enough. I use about 3 different things. Sulfur, lost coast plant therapy and mildew cure as a preventative in veg.

Once in the flower room I'm trying to keep things a constant 75-77 degrees with a RH of roughly 60%. That's my target at least. Things fluctuate during feeds etc. last two weeks of flower (week 8.5 to 10.5) I try to get the room as cold as possible which is usually 72-73 degrees.

If you happen to be running rockwool, and even coco. make sure you are getting proper dry back in your medium. I cannot dress this enough also. I aim for 50% dry back before watering again in veg. OG needs a good root structure to show its stuff. In flower I go for 40% dry back. If I can time my feeds and get it all dialed in with environment it's a home run every time.

Wow what a blast from the past , 2014 thread.

🙏 to all who mentioned Connoisseur genetics back then in the 2014 post and take 50% of any seed pack to those that mentioned me when making an order in the future ( only 33% off Triple pack)
I've got a few Dangerous Dog seeds that were freebies. I've been saving them for a proper location outdoors or in a greenhouse. The coppers have taken everything I own and I'm old and have no place to grow for big sativas now.🥺So they sit in my collection until I can give them the love they need. The buzz sounds a bit like some of the Colombians I smoked in my youth.

My GI issues were w/me when I made i95
Allong w/being mostly Corey stardawg aka HP /sour chem 4 makeup
It’s meds and them morphed into idk what

But now that we moved into the narcotic body/soul w/outcrossing to chemdog d and gmo we got dirty taxi
And that imvho is where we’re at now w/chemdog
My taxi cut is the best of both worlds
Smells like pure chem d but hits harder and grows more extreme due to the gmo stretch and hybridization from the vigor of i95

My taxi makes amazing offspring as well
My 18 year cut is dirty taxi x I-95 and is full send sour spears
I haven’t uploaded pictures in moons
May try and get some shots of her and her offspring
S_I Pete has recent nug shots on this cut on his insta

IDC what i was thinking coming here to ask! I grew up with a 3 pronged pitch fork throwing hay, I have no buis here amongst you rockstars who are pissing excellence with this plant so much so that you act like you have played lead guitar for the rolling stones for 30 yrs. I wonder how much of that very behavior has set this plant back PERMA style?

You just broke it down extremely precise with the pedigrees and I appreciate the fuck out of you Mike. This just sold me on getting some taxi to sort through.

Yeah I forgot you ran Hempy buckets. Somewhat still applies. OGs like wet and dry periods. You can adjust etc. seems like you should be fine though.
It was 65F 50RH with the LED I hear that low temp causes hella issuse?? Its a struggle. Might fire up the HPS. But I just flipped so at least these look better than my coco escapades and I am on DTW no more recirc. The LED is on less than 25 % too otherwise its extreme issues with yellowing. Only have this issue in veg. RH usually low too.

Chem 4 is looking good but I might put the blue dream in to bloom and save this one for the next round. I ran Ethos CO Chem rbx3 which was ((Chem 4 x Chem 91(Chem D x i95)) x GG4 my only plants came out short fat GG4 maybe a bit of spice and grease in there. Heavy coated and heavy couch. Maybe just super potent cant recall just different than the GG4. Which I just smoked on. Think I'll fire that one back up once more. Chem #4 grows fairly nice so far I will get to it.

Yeah I'm still a dinosaur and rocking DE HPS. I've been afraid to switch to led because I know once they go up I have to change EVERYTHING else to dial back in. I'm almost done with my new rooms. I think once I'm up and running after a bit I'll make the switch finally but I wanna get my feet wet again. It's been a while since I ran real numbers.

Don't wanna get off topic but two notes id add here

A) leaf temperatures are much lower under led yes. That's why some plants selected under hid and Lucas formula thrive being grown that way specifically (sour, chem, og). So if you can, pump those Temps. You don't want it too hot in flower or anything as jetlife said. But in veg you wanna push the vpd diff and transpiration for peak growth. You aren't gonna worry about like preserving terpenes in veg. Even in flower you'll want to watch those leaf Temps. That's why I left the driver mounted on my 240W qb. Keeps those Temps up across the canopy.

B) LED spectrum, depending on intensity and specific light of course, seems to push the shit out of these plants. Stuff like calcium specifically, but I've noticed rapid feed uptake across the board. 240W in a 40x40" compared to 2x400W hid in vented hoods in a 8x4. With the XXXL magnum hoods and hid leaf Temps, you'd think it would be similar or so. But the 240W led will have my plants saying "More Weight"* even as they suffer slowly. The feed uptake is just, very rapid and my plants have showed the consequences of that in either direction. For example, the 89 day gmo I posted. So that's why your plants are yellowing, probably. Need to dial in that nutrient ratio and uptake to really grow them under that intense spectrum IMO.

All my personal experience and anecdotal knowledge. But hands on it seems there's a significant difference. I've seen Arcata TW grown under hlg leds. It was utterly phenomenal. You just won't get the HID penetration, leaf temp, and yield.

P.S. running a intense light in a small tent has been very educational about nutrient uptake, IMO.
