Facts.

Had a close friend who worked the KKSC for a very long time and every hybrid had more vibrant strawberry phenos than the actual clone itself. My favorite he ever did was KKSC x purple punch. There was a lot of synergy in those two lines. Made some absolutely wild terpene profiles.
I have to see if theres any beans in my KKSC. Think I hit it with Tom Hill Haze. Havent had time to go thru the jar I kept.

This is GMO, a chemd x forum gsc clone, but I'm posting it to give people an idea of what it's influence looks like.

I had/have pests and am still learning to feed so please keep in mind this expression is very extreme. 2 plants, 1 gallon promix type each, 89 days, 240w led vivarspectra. There were 10 plants in the 40x40" but these two dominated the tent with their 3x stretch.

Temps fluctuated as low as 18c, and I likely used too much gypsum with flush at end. I mention that because I have never seen GMO go this purple.

Buddy told me no ceiling to the high.

Should make nice conical buds like Corey.

Progeny have really good taste.

No personal experience here to be clear, except with Corey.
I think she is going to be on deck. I had one in a solo but waited and the neglect didnt do her well. The new mom might get sniped and flipped shortly. I am wondering about effects and how exactly is the taste. I have read spicy. I have a good bit of sour experience and '91 s1 and ethose CO Chem, GG4 cut. No ceiling high is always a plus IMHO.

haven't had chem 4 pure (one day... one day)

but EVERY cross i've had with chem 4 that seems to run 4 heavy is definitely ceilingless or has a very high ceiling.

if nothing else is getting me high, it will. it's also great for stomach issues.

it's like a center mass massage of light, and in that same vein is euphoric kinda like a subtle opioid imo.

and even if a cross is only like a quarter chem 4, it seems the 4 traits are dominant. the taste and smell as well as that g.i. medicinal nature.

and iirc, pbud said ppl use the chem 4 for g.i. issues.

Gastrointestinal issues… sounds like I need some chem 4…..

(don't read if you're dining atm lol)

@mr.brunch

i can't promise ALL g.i. issues will be cured (and there's the whole individual brain chemistry thing)!

among other things i was diagnosed with i.b.s. but i can't tell if it does better or worse with diarrhea/ constipation than other strains (weed in general is hit or miss when it comes to bowel movements, ime), guessing it probably helps stop diarrhea generally because of what i'm about to say next:

if there's any sort of muscle tension in the abdomen that is leading to digestive issues, nausea etc... i have yet to find any other weed that even comes close!

(ok, back to the original idea of the tread)

chem 91 is also very relaxing, but more overall like neck and back pain after work or even a muscle or tendon injury... nothing beats it imo... the chem 91 leaning onycd is super great, prolly my favorite medicinal strain for general anxiety/ depression as well as joint tension and injuries.

the chem d leaning stuff (like tres dawg and the tres dawg leaning onycds) is great for anxiety and depression, but i feel it's more in the head and can be quite mezmerizing and psychedelic in its mellowness. less physically medicinal.

in that same vein, chem de la chem is probably my favorite modern commercial strain... super heady in that relaxing chem d way (and the terps from the batches i had are suuuuper chem d heavy... halitosis and sweaty female ass all the way), colorful clouds overlaying my field of vision... very relaxing, almost couchlock but just soooo exquisite... mmm i miss it.

skunkVA's company has some good shit, he lives and breathes chem (literally lol)... their dog patch (basically the reciprocal of onycd) is fantastic, definitely has them terps omg. i'll try out his twin peaks (chem sis x chem 91 bx), which, if i succeed, will be the first chemdog strain i grow out and try (i've grown out crappier stuff, and i have killed some stardawgs, i need to double back and fix my setup before i destroy more precious genes)

Smell and taste to me of the Chem 4 is a combo of skunk, pine, lemon and kerosene. The terps are similar to SFV OG I think.

Extremely similar.

Many bags of chem4 have been renamed out here in LA over the years as some type of OG and no one even bats an eye at it.
I could definitely see how commercial operators might change the label on their Chem 4 buds to SFV OG or vice versa, depending on what the market demand is at the time, due to the terpene similarity.

But, for a grower, it's pretty easy to distinguish one clone from the other due to a significant difference in plant structure between the two.

Amen….. I’ve always described the 4 as the “missing link”, so to speak, between the “chems” and “OG’s”….

I also find the 4 has one of the most dissociative highs….kinda like a really good batch of The White….ime….

A buddy of mine has what I believe to be the 4, but he got it as “Sour D”….but it’s a dead ringer for the 4 I knew well from the Oaksterdam days…..👌🏻

Not sure if it's because I've just been running kushes since forever but if anyone needs some pointers PM me.

We can go through your numbers and schedule and see if I can help out in any way.

They really aren't as finicky as you think just gotta know when to give them what they want.

My issues have always been due to lack of climate controls. RH and Temps mainly.
