Who has grown Short Rider please stand up...

Hey who has grown Short Rider ?

I got 4 test packs of 5 female seeds each in the mail today. But looking at the packaging they look the same as in the same picture on the front but two packs are called White Castle and two are called Short Rider.

I PM'd OP asking if he realized I was sent two strains but haven't heard back so I am wondering if there was a packaging mix up.

The description on the back of the pack of Short Rider says:

Short Rider is a hybrid of our former Top44 and our former Early Special. Top44 is a longtime favorite because of its ability to produce commerical amounts of strong , skunky buds with just 44 days of flowering. Early Special is unique due to its autoflowering Siberian genes. Short Rider is a must for growers with limited space or simply want to finish extra early. Amazing quality for so little time.

From looking at this pack I don't see where it says anything about being 100% AF just an extra early finisher. I think someone thought they could lower the 44 days of flowering time. So I also asked OP to find the description listed on the Boutique to see if it matched up on the seed pack.

The other main question is are they female or not.

I have some seeds germing now and when they are done and into cups i'll start these.

Cool but the seeds were bought here or on one of Gypsy's Seedbanks ( Seed Boutique or Seedbay ) so that is the description in question and the one I am looking for. But when these questions first came up I went and looked the description here and I think it matched the one you posted but I am not sure.

Does anyone that bought them here or anywhere else still have the packaging ?

when i bought my seeds. i never looked at the packaging. i saw it said short rider and threw them in some paper towel.....i gotta say. i don't know whats up with my short rider but the one female i have left is still not flowering. i had an ant problem on the hill they're on but i can't see how they would affect the flowering process. besides, i laid ant granules everywhere about a month ago. haven't seen an ant since. only thing i can think of was i super cropped it the first week of august. it should have been done stressing within a week though.

I bought my seeds from Pick&Mix (I still have parts of the packet)

Its a yellow envolope type thing with this pic on the front (See attach), No description on there though!

Hi guys,I just finished growing my Short Ryder from Nirvana seeds,I planned to grow them outside,ordered 10 regular seeds..resieved 5 feminised...at that time I was quite happy,like oh damm I paid 20€ for regulars,but recieved seeds worth 25€..but then my car broke,I wasnt able to get to my grow site,and what started like growing seedlings for transplanting outdoors,ended with micro grow....I planted just 3 seeds,they were growing un der 2 18W fluoros at seedling stage..from 3 feminised seeds ha ha,I only got one female,but that one lady turned out real nice,I got like some 5-6 grams from one plant,but she grew under one 30W CFL and two 18W fluoros,quite tough enviroment..smell is really really nice mango,pineapple...you dont need any odour control at all with this strain,potency is more indica type..finished 3weeks veg+6weeks flowering..give it a try if you have very limited space,my grow box height was only 53cm...and low odour
and I dont know about autoflowering,because after 3 weeks I put her in 12/12

i have grew out 2 seeds and they did't autoflower so i scraped the grow needed room for lr2

I ordered 10 regular seeds, germ 6 over a different time period, 4 turn out to be female (1 didn't germ, happens) and it started to flower a week ago, like on its 40th day from germination under 24/7 6x25w CFL. I do wish I can veg it a little longer but it has a mind of its own, so. PS: first grow, so lotsa complications but fun

I thought this strain was confirmed by some in this forum to be non-af ?
I've also google'd around and many ppl are having this problem.
Prolly half-assed breeding so not 100% AF

Nope, the batch I got they all auto flowed on me, even 1 of them is too small (on its 36th day I noitice the white tenticles). May be it is the colder temperature triggers it, I don't know. They are still on 24/7 light and seems ok with it. As far as my needs are concern, it is my first grow and its good to have something quick so I can start smoking sooner while my other strains can take its time.
