Love this thread! My next grow will be mainly WR. First grow for this strain so I am looking at all info I can find.
Have heard it is one of the better strains used medicinally.

About that knife...my mother had one. They are actually 'Blubber Knives'. The wooden handled kind have a much better feel when cutting/chopping(just my opinion).

THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL BUD YOU GOT THERE!! THE KNIVES THE NATIVES MAKE HAVE THE HANDLE COMING OUT OF THE CENTER OF THE BLADE THEY ARE VERY SHARP AND THE YOUNG CHILDREN USE THESE LIKE PRO'S tHEY ACTUALLY PUT THE WHOLE HUNK OF MEAT, FISH, OR BLUBBER UP TO THEIR MOUTH. TAKE A BITE AND SLICE RIGHT NEXT TO THEIR LIPS. I WAS A BARTENDER IN FAIRBANKS AND THE LOCALS WOULD ALWAYS BRING ME TREATS OR GIVE ME THINGS FOR DRIVING THEM HOME. i GOT FRESH MUKTUK AND WHILE MY CREW OF BOUNCERS AND WAITRESSES WERE CLOSING FOR THE NIGHT I WAS SLICING PIECES FOR EVERYONE TO TRY BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE DON'T GET THAT CHANCE VERY OFTEN. IT SMELLED LIKE WATERMELON AND PEOPLE WERE ASKING WHERE IS THE WATERMELON. IT TASTED SLIGHTLY SMOKEY tHE ULUFACTORY IS AK AND THEY MAKE THEM THEY WAY THE NATIVES DO ALTHOUGH YOU MIGHT WANT TO ASK IF IT IS A FUNCTIONING BLADE OR TOURIST BLADE (very dull).

My wr buds are very very pleasant smoke, nothing like harsh. They burn excellent even before curing.

Here is my ULU. The other thing is just a holder. It is very sharp and has cut lots of fish and meat and garlic.

doktoren - i had a pheno almost identical to yours, from a pack of Nirvana White Rhino. It was culled because it didn't stand up in the potency department, but I remember it having this extremely sweet, almost candy tart flavor, and smelt of something exotic when burning, unfamiliar to your standard "pot" smell. I swear I miss this strain on taste alone. I'd like to run a few packs and find a green keeper pheno, as I only had 4 females (ranging from completely purple to 1/2 and 1/2), but none were prime examples.

I don't know... my wr comes from a private collector and I don't know for sure the original vedor, but I know you can't find it anymore. Probably from one of the first breeders that sold white rhino some years ago. If anybody knows this information could share it..

& I know people that got purple pheno from nirvana's wr also.

There is quite a bit of variation in this strain. I've gone through 10 beans and have found 3 differently stuctured plants already. The biggest grows a big, tall chunky cola. The smallest has a shorter stature, and a smaller, more dense bud. The 3rd is the same size as the big one, but with the tighter, pointier cola. I enjoy it, pretty good smoke. I like the rich aftertaste.

The purple ones look like some showcase buds.

hey man I just love white rhino...i had 3 phenos at one time, my best beinga pheno i called peach plant cause it smelled like peaches/puppy breath// anyway enjoy that smoke, i def plan on adding a cut to my garden in the future/

never got too many purps i dont think ,seeems yours has more white widow in it..nice man thx for sharing K+

hmmm i know that my buds use to have this one pheno of white widow, at least they called it white widow, but in reality it was exactly like the peach plant pheno of white rhino i had, anyway it use to turn purp, not like totally but with low tempts at night cycle during flower would bring some out.

Mr.nice is what nyrvana used so its same genes in a sense///
