Sinse thanks for posting your feed times helps alot. Your LST trianing is looking good how long ya gonna veg for...........

I may veg another 2 weeks. It really all depends though. If the plants hit 20" b4 2 weeks then I will flip them. This white rhino pheno doubles it size in flower so 3 1/2 to 4 feet is what I want them to be after stretching. I hope this helps you out bro.

Regards,
Sinse.

Here are some pics from this morning day 16 veg. If I was growing in soil I would have to wait another 2 weeks for the plants to be the size they are now. I feel like a kid in the candy store sinse switching to hydro grow. I have some God Bud beans comming in the mail as well as some Jack Herer so I plan on adding another 9 buckets to my system after this grow and doing an all God Bud grow once I have found a nice yielding pheno. :yummy: Girls are still growing fast and I may flip them in 1 week. Things happen so fast in hydro it takes gettin used to. I am a lazy person and seems like I dont have the time to make decisions like when I was growing in soil. lol PPM still running at 1000 and PH is 5.7. I also topped the rez up last night wit 3 gallons of water. Temps in the room is high of 80F and low of 73F. Humidity is 60% also. Rez temps are 70F-74F so I have been adding ice cold 2 litre bottles of water to keep temps down.

Regards,
Sinse.

Day 19 veg. The girls are filling out the empty spaces fast. Rez temps 69F. Room temps are a high of 79F lights on and 68F lights off. PH is at 5.8 and PPM is 1000. RH is 65-70% I am already in the hunt for a 90 Gallon rez so I can add 21 more buckets to this system. Right now its only half full. lol My goal is to have this room full of buckets. I have enuff space to add 1 bucket to each row. I am going to be ordering 4 galaxy 600W digi ballasts with econocool reflectors in the next few days for the next grow. The plan is to have 36 buckets under 6 X 600W air cooled lights.

Regards,
Sinse.

Lookin good Sinse........

Lookin good Sinse........

Dewd.......36 buckets under 3600 watts sounds like the shit diggity to me.......I hope you don`t have any probs with the white buckets not bein lightproof.......I`ve seen some nasty situations where plants fell over and died with a 24-48 hr. period due to algae and fungus gnats developing without knowing, but ebb and flow buckets are forgiving as far as higher rez temps.........I run a chiller but it costs out the ass to run it,dehumidifier and a/c along with the lights...If yas can get "grey lightproof" paint buckets from the local supply house it`ll help yas in the long run.......They`re also cheaper than anything online OR Le Casa Depot plus thicker and come with lids .........Not that you need the lids but they`re extra online and I get em regularly @$3.50 per new unfilled buckets w/lids instead of well over 5-6 bucks without online for the dark colored ones that aren`t black but block most of the light in the rootzone.......Paint buckets will absorb minimum heat as well as not letting any light into the rootzone....What size is your room btw?......Take care man and great luck with one of the easiest systems out there that practically runs itself..........PEACE.........DHF........ :sasmokin:

Hello Budwesier13. Yes I made my own controller and bucket system from how-to threads put up by H.O.G. It was very detailed and was very easy to do. Heres a few pic of the rez and controller bucket. I have 12 frozen 2 litre bottles of water that I use like icecubes to keep my rez temps in check. I use 4 of them at a time and change every 6 hours. The white PVC pipe you see in the rez is my measuring stick. When I first set my system up I kept filling a 2.5 gallon water jug and pouring it in the rez and marking a notch on the white PVC pipe where the water mark was. Its an easy way for me to tell how much the girls are eating. If your thinking about making a system and need help send me a pm. Yes I want another 21 buckets in this room bro. :D If it could fit 50 I'd put that many in. rofl.

Well today is day 20 vegging in the buckets. I think I have ran out of room so todays chore will be to take clones and trim all the undergrowth that wont amount to any decent buds. I will also give them a days flush as well and flip them into flower on tuesday. They are now 20" tall and I have run out of space so now comes the fun part. I must say that besides my tryin to root clones in cold buckets in the beginning that the veg growth has been super fast, healthy and the system has been easy to maintain. So the next step is takin care of them in flower which I hope does not create to many problems.

Regards,
Sinse.

Thanks for all pics man. Yeah I already built my controller also from those plans. I just need to find a good house to get going. Lookin awsome man. Hey if ya want to see some multiflows look up dc105 and bartender they are doing grows with this system also.............. :sasmokin:

Funny you should talk about algae bro. When I was pruing all the undergrowth 2nite 1 bucket had some algae in the botton around the rim. Seeing this has forced me to flush wit plain PH adjusted water and flip to flower tomorrow. Weird how only 1 bucket though. I may add some H2O2 to kill anything that may cause probs. Thanks again for the heads up. :D

Budweiser13 I been following those guys threads and takin notes. Everything is going great here except my white buckets in which I hope dont cause any probs. Good luck on finding a place to setup shop bro!!!

Well I got everything pruned and now don't have to move the plants I have in flower out of the room anymore. They are on day 30 I think and have been sitting on the side of the vegging plants in the multiflow buckets. I am flushing 2nite and will flip to flower tomorrow. I also added a 1000HPs to the room so in total have 2200W HPS for this show.

Sinse.

Well here are some pics Day 2 of flower. I drained my rez 2day as it stunk to high heaven. Was alot of snot in the rez and I almost puked when I took the cover off. All this snot buildup within 36 hours so not really sure what the deal was. I am not sure if temps are to blame as my rez temps were between 70-75F and I have been using hydroguard. It seems since I switched to flower it got funky. Only thing different I added to the rez was carboload and a lil bud blood. I am moving the system back downstairs tomorrow. I think the deep freeze is over in this part of the world finally. lol. Man it a pain in the arse moving this system especially now they are 2 feet tall and be awkward as fook. I will definately feel alot safer having the system down in the basement though. The concrete floors should be great to keep rootzone temps in check. I covered all the buckets also with black and white 6mm poly to try and get rid of the algae thats in 2 of the buckets. Well here are the pics. If you have any suggestions please let me know. When I move the system tomorrow I will cover the buckets up better to seal out light.

Regards,
Sinse.

Thanks for the update sinse. Hope the snot shit is not a big deal. The plants look awsome they are getting big............... :joint:

Well after 6 hours I have finally finished moving the system into the basement. I am running straight PH adjusted water with 5ML/Gallon Hydrogen peroxide. The rez smells a hell of lot better then it did last night. After the last flood 2nite I will check some of the roots and see how they are doing. The rez temps are now 66F and are stayin steady. Hopefully the H2O2 gives a good cleanin to the hydroton to. Tomorrow after the first flood I will mix a batch of nutes and keep my fingers crossed. Well here are the pics of the girls downstairs. Day 3 of flower. They are gettin a lil light green which is due to not being fed anything but straight water 2day.

Regards,
Sinse.

Hey man.....Glad to see you`re takin care of the prob,..........but it`s real important you stay on the lookout since all the tops of the buckets are exposed to the lights and algae "thrives' on rockwool cubes bigtime and even tho I see you`ve got lil clay balls on top for moisture retention , you actually want "major drying out' around the base of the main stem up top for "explosive growth"........You can cut circles out of the panda film to cover tops of the buckets to keep light out and keep algae from formin to a certain extent but temps as well as environmental control mean more than anything.......Good luck and .......PEACE.........DHF........... :sasmokin:

hey sensemillian...was up bro

sorry your having problems...idk if its related but the only time i ever had probs with
my roots/reservoir was when i was using "bud blood"...man my plants hated that stuff...i also used piranah and tarantula with negative results....i will never use any of them again
....once i returned to my regular program...never a prob again

my regular program is ..... sensi bloom a&b , big bud , carboload and sweetleaf
..i been thinking about adding "overdrive"

but this grow i'm running a different experiment
for the first 4-5 weeks i'm gonna run my regular deal ..then i'm gonna use "metanaturals bloom 1-5-5" organic nutes for the next 2 -3 weeks and then flush
.....just to see how / if... it affects the taste/smell/high

i hope you dont have anymore problems bro
keep up the good work
mj

DEDHEDFRED when I moved the system yesterday I adjusted the float switches a tad. Now the high water mark is a half inch below the bottoms of the rockwool cubes and inch and a half under the top of the hydroton. I am going to keep it at this level from now on. To much bs wit rockwool getting wet n takin to long to dry and I dought there is a real difference in growth wit the rockwool not being super close to the high mark. I am going to cut circles of poly and put on top of the rockwool and see how it goes bro. Thanks for the help once again. :)

bartender187 whats up bro. Nice to see you here and poppin by my growshow. Stink has gone away but its only been 1 day so fingers crossed. Oh yeah man you get a PH pen yet? Sorry to hear yours crapped out on ya. I'll bne poppin by your thread later 2nite after I give my girls some TLC!

mtnjohn I hear what ya say bout Bud Blood. I have read more negative then posotive from growers in regards to it. I never added any to the mix I made up today. I ordered a gallon of sensizyme today and will start using it when it gets here. I dont use overdrive at all but I use Big Bud right until flush. I just start cutting it by 25% each week after the fifth week is done. Not quit sure if overdrive really make that much of a difference but AN seems to have alot of smake oil for sale in my books. After this grow is done I will be switching to Botanicare products and just use AN Big Bud for a bloom booster because I am a big fan of Big Bud.

Thanks for stopping by boyz and I'm gonna smoke a joint and take some pics and upload shortly.

Regards,
Sinse.

Sinse theya re looking awsome hope everything pulls through. Sending good karma your way. I hope the snot is not root rot. The roots in the pirecent pics look great................

Well there is no snot at all so far and i gotz me fingers still crossed. The 2 pics are the roots of the 2 plants that had green algae in the buckets. The first feed they really hammered the nutes. They drank a gallon and a half and the PPM dropped from 1050 to 980 and the ph rose from 5.8 to 6. Temps on the floor are 64F and just above the plants its 82F so I know for a fact my rootzone should be cool enuff. Gonna have to wait and see.
