White Rhino Multiflow Clone grow

Well how are you all doin? This be my first hydro grow ever and I am already a week into it. I had some probs with yellowing clones but they seem to be new green growth now. Heres a rundown on my setup.

Lighting and system:
1000W MH for veg ( although not using it atm)
2X600W Super Sun reflector and ballast.
1X1000W So a total of 2200W for flower. :yummy:
15 Bucket multiflow (3.5 gallon buckets)

Some other gear I have to incorporate into my sealed room are:
Greenair CD-6 CO2 generator
Greenair atmosheric controller
8" Hurricane fan
My aircooled fittings for the reflectors (if I can find them) :pointlaug
8" 38 Special Carbon Filter.

This will be my first attempt at a sealed controlled environment grow. I have always used passive fresh air intake and exhaust through the carbon filter in the past. Since makin the attempt to switch to hydro I figured its time to tie all my gear I have had laying around together. Here are a couple pics of the rhino pheno my clones are from. She yielded 2 and a half ounces of sugar coated dense candy for me in soil so I am hoping 3-4 ounces in the buckets. She could have went another week I think but due to having to move she had to be harvested a little early.

Right now I am flowering a clone mum and 3 clones from her. She is 4 feet tall and at day 14 of lower. Her she is below.

The 3 clones from her are in the black buckets in this pic.

I am going to be using Advanced Nutrients MGB, Fulvic Acid, Carboload, Bigbud, Hydroguard, Barricade and maybe hygrozyme for this grow.

here are a couple pics of the clones in the system. They seem to be recovering well. I think my main problem with early yellowing on the new growth was soaked 4" rockwool cubes. I had them sitting 1/8" below the high water mark in the buckets when the system floods.

Well that is where I am at now folks. Any suggestions on how to tie my atmosphere together would be greatly appreciated. :joint:

Sinse.

Well here are some pics taken 25 minutes ago. The girls have really bounced back and I am happy camper. :woohoo: I think I am going to start feeding them tomorrow. You think 500 ppm will be okay berger? Also I am going to make a time lapse of this grow. I found a spot where I can take pictures from the exact spot!! I took a few pics to test and the photos were identical. Well thanks again bergerbuddy for your help and btw I am still waiting to hear back from you after you review your notes!!

nice set up mate. cant wait to see the juicy nugs you get of them. good call on the nutes to,ive heard onli good things lol

reaperz thanks for stopping by. I have always used advanced nutrients but in soil. Since this being my first hydro grow so far its been a pain. Probably not because of AN products but because of my limited hydroponic skills. lol

Budweiser13 glad you tagged this thread bro. I love the simplicity of the multiflow system and I have seen alot of great grows by first time hydro growers in them.

Well I made a fresh batch of nutes for the girls this morning. PH adjusted to 5.7 and PPM is 770. I am going to start flooding them regularly 3-4 times a day. Each flood will be 15 mins so we will see if they start to take off. I had soaked rockwool and think thats the probs I have been having. So i let the cubes dry out for 2 days and the roots have grown some 6-8 inches down into the buckets and rockwool is half decently dry. :woohoo: Its hard to tell after the first flood if they ate anything because I figure with 1 inch of solution that always stays in the bottoms of the buckets that ppm will go down a tad because my last batch of nutes PPM was 250 I think. So after the second feeding we will see if the PPM's drop. I figure they will because the girls are looking real hungry now. I will post pics in a couple hours after the next flood and update as to how they are doing.

Sinse.

Sorry for not posting the pics last night. Everyone in town is being hit hard by the flu and I think I just picked it up. Man do I ever feel like crap. The plants seem to have taken a turn for the better. Today was the first day I started to flood 4 times for 15 mins each. Although on the last flood they been looking droppy so I think I over watered. However all new growth is green. I think I was starving them for 2 days when only flooding 1 time per day. I am wondering when I should be topping the rez off? The p.h rose up to 6.3 so I adjusted it to 5.7. and Rez temps are 74F so I hope tha fuck the hydroguard gets here tomorrow!!! lol I am bringing rez temp down 3-4F throughout the day by putting frozen 2 litre bottles of water in. I moved the lights down 8" and they are now 26" above the tops of the plants. I noticed the PPM never changed at all today as well. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I take it its hard to tell if they are eating when they are this small? Forgive me for the questions but its hard for me to tell. Do I top up with straight ph'd water? I dunno. lmfao. Well thats it for now I guess. Bergerbuddy if your out there bro I need your help cause this grow got me confused. Would it be ok for me to pm you?

Regards,
Sinse.

Well its day 10 for the clones and things are going real good now. I cant beleive how fast they are growing. The stems are twice as thick as they were 2 days ago and the secondary growth is like 3-4 inches on 90% of the plants. Hydroponic growth is amazing boyz and I think I am hooked on ponics now. I can pretty much say my problem last week was rockwool was wayyy to wet. The clone in the 5th pic is prolly down because when I first moved the system upstairs I accidentaly uprooted it. :yoinks: I am getting Botanicare PBP products in and am going to sell some of my un opened Advanced Nutrients products. I have a 2.5 KG bucket of Big Bud powder unopened for sale as well as a 4 Litre of Bloom unopened as well. Pm me if interested. Gotta sell it so price will be cheap. Since looking at some organic PBP hydro grows like Mrwags I am making the switch. So here are some pics of the white rhinos. I am still moving the ones I have in flower back and forth into a dark room after they have been sunning for there 12 hours each day. They are at day 18 of flower and the clones in the multiflow buckets are at day 10. Bergerbuddy once again bro thx for the help. Since taking your advice they have done a 180 and have really takin off.

Regards,
Sinse.

Budweiser13 thanks for the compliments bro. I like to keep my growroom as clean as possible. I have never had a prob with any pests besides gnats which is a certain in all indoor grows.

Well I have to say I am 100% hooked on these multiflow buckets. The girls are growing like crazy. I plan on doing some LST on them tomorrow while I have time. LOLLOLLOL I cant beleive how fast they grow in these buckets. I never seen anything like it in my life. Side branches have grown 2 inchs overnight and I figure that means I gotta LST when lights come back on in the morning b4 its to late. LOL Well here are some pics from tonight b4 lights out. The last 2 pics are a group shot from 5 days ago and tonights shot to show you how fast they have grown. Since the girls roots hit the bottom of the buckets they are taken over the growshow!!!! 50% of this growth was in 1 day. I may be crazy but after smokin a nice Jack Herer philly blunt last night I could swear I seen them growing 1/4" in the hour I spent with them. LOL Rez temps are 70F PH is 5.8 and PPM is 760. I am not sure if I should up the nutes or not.

Sinse.

Well here are some pics the day after LST on the girls. I bumped the nutes up to 950 and PH is sitting at 5.8. They seem to not have been affected at all from the little bit of stress put on them. When I did LST on this pheno in soil they took 1-2 days to adjust. I guess another advantage of a hydro grow.

Sinse.

lookin good dude again thanks for the updates I am watching and learning I will be using the multiflow myself in the near future. For those Gnats ya might want to get some hot shot pest strips and hang a couple in your room. I have read great things about them do a google................. :lurk:

awesome grow.......very clean(clean is good)

and where did you get those bucket's..???.....lol :sasmokin:

really though ..thats one sick setup bro
mj

Yeah mtnjohn. LOL Not quit sure where I got the buckets. Might have been walmart but I not 100% positive. LOLOLLOL I seem to have control on the system now but I am sure I will run into some other probs along the way.

Buweiser13 glad you like the setup bro. I know I have not dialed the system in 100% yet but still the growth is unreal. Not quit sure what your gonna learn from me as this grow is my first hydro and I bound to make mistakes of some kind. I have been reading tons about the multiflows and hydro growing so I am sure I will have 99% of any probs that arise figured out quickly. The real main prob I had so far is having the rockwool cubes 1/8" under the high water line so they were always soaked. Since lifting them up a tad above the high mark like suggested by Bergerbuddy they have been doing great!! Once again thanks Bergerbuddy!!!

Well if you have been following this grow I post pics everyday. So here are todays pics. Day 13 and the second day since I LST'd the girls.

Thanks for joining me on this adventure guys.

Regards,
SInse.

mj

Budweiser13 nice to hear you be stickin around bro. Its a pleasure to have you.

mtnjohn LOL Theres more use to these home depot buckets up here in Canada then hauling sand or salt this time of the year. Nice to see you hanging around to bro. It gives me incentive to keep up with this grow journal with you guys hanging around.

Well all heres day 14. I took these pics this morning 5 mins b4 the lights came on. The girls are growing 1-2" a day now. Side branches are 10" long now and all seems to be growing well. They drank a gallon of water yesterday as well. When they eat my PH stays at 5.8 and the PPM stays the same as well. From what I have read this is a good thing. I topped them up with a gallon of RO water and PPM has dropped from 850 to 790. I just got my ecogrow hygrometer in the mail and it says humidity is 25% so I am spraying the girls a few times a day and also spraying the mylar a tad as well to keep humidity up at 60%. The first and third pic was 5 mins after lights went out last night and the second one was 5 mins b4 lights on this morning. Thats it for now boys. Have a good one!!!

Sinse.

Hello Budweiser13. I am on a 18/6 lighting schedule and flood 4 times a day each for 15 minutes. First flood is 1 hour after the lights come on. Every flood after that is 5 hours. My schedule is as follows. Lights on at 11:00AM and first flood at Noon. Second at 5:00PM third at 10:00PM and forth at 3:00AM and lights out at 5:00AM. If you have any other questions bro let me know.

Well all is going better then I ever thought so far. When I use to read multiflow grow journals I was always amazed with how fast they grow and I couldn't wait to have a system like it for myself. Well now I get to experience for myself in my own multiflow grow. Since seeing roots 5 days ago on the bottoms of the buckets these plants are going nuts. The pics were takin this morning 5 mins after the lights came on. The girls as you can see are filling in nicely and have adjusted to the training real well although there was a day where growth seemed slow (only grew 1/2" that day instead of 1"-2" LOL) The last to pics are for comparisin taken 9 days apart.

Sinse.
