My phone uses 4 different mobile networks, and a global wifi provider. I just use one provider as a rule, and have call forwarding down-stream, should my network of choice not work. As a caller, you would have no idea of this forwarding. Every few months I get an unusual ringtone, alerting me my main line must be down/busy/lame and so another network has stepped in.
I'm a very minimal phone user, but like it to work.
@Douglas.Curtis I don't use any app. The need for one would stop me using a service. I just use my browser. No download manager or peer2peer software. Same volume control as anything else. That's why I stream. I just watch it.
I listed a few streaming examples as weak proof that everything streams now. I can't give a download example. Not a legal one. I'm unsure what @Cuddles is using.
I don't use the one's I listed, as the big legal names are generally app based. Even youtube pesters you to use an app, though I won't download the bloat.
