Which seed strain are dank AND consistent such as peyote purple

Recently i grew out some peyote purple and it was some of the most dank and unique looking plant i've ever seen, every single plant was fire plus it looks pretty close to the images online. Are there any other strains that are dank and consistent? I heard most "new" strains with all the fancy names are f1 hybrids and not very consistent but im open to suggestions.. the peyote purple competes with the clone only strains i've been running which was very suprising.

Dynasty, esko, Chimera, Bodhi are all good and not too expensive.

They are not brands that you will encounter the 'Hay phenos' that some brands can produce.

Lots more aswell, just look at other peoples grow logs.......

I have been looking through grow journals but there are just so many breeders nowadays with even more strains its hard to keep track on whats worth growing especially when there are so many good clones floating around. Which is your favorite bodhi strain? he has a ton of different ones and they all sound good. I tend to favor heavy indica plants like the master and bubba

I have only personally grown Goji OG, which is great, but he has a very good reputation and i don't think i've ever seen one negative comment about his results.....

He has a lot of Bubba Kush, Master Kush etc. crosses to choose from and Dynasty seeds has some great Bubba and Oregon Afghani (identical to Bubba apparently) crosses aswell.

Those 4 names i gave were kind of my 'can't lose' recommendations, but i'm sure there are others.

ACE Bubba x Hashplant might be of interest to you. Chimera has Bubba x Jack, Loompa has Silver Bubster F3. CSI Humbolt has a bunch of Bubba crosses and S1s. Isces has Master Kush S1s, Archive has BombThreat.

Lots of goods around.

Growing from seed is a lottery. The plants that make it to clone-only are rare, like one 1 in 100 or worse. With good material you can find good stuff growing 5-10 plants, perhaps a little less with stabilized genetics, but elite quality requires a lot more luck. I have grown out probably 50 seeds in my life and I count myself lucky to have 1 that I think was elite quality, i.e. good yield, exceptional aroma, high potency. Most of the rest wasn't bad at all, but lacking in at least one department.

Well if you had good success with the PP why not look into the other strains that Cannabiogen has to offer?

I have not been disappointed with anything i tried from cbg yet but PP was by far not as impressive for me as destroyer (but i'm a sativa guy so no wonder)

good vibes

truth

I've run so many more than 50 I lost count long ago, but that's right on. You can find lots of "nice" plants in packs from good breeders ... absolute gems? A little tougher than that.

For the OP, I thought all the suggestions you got were good ones so far, I'd add Archive seeds to the list of good bets.

Look in to BOG. Pretty stable, strong, indica strains. And he's very accessible here to answer questions about phenotypes, etc.

Look for Backcrosses and IBL's of dank strains to get high quality + consistency like Face Off OG BX2 from Archive or CV OG from Cannaventure. Plenty more out there, just a couple off the top of my head.

Unfortunately 90% of breeders today aren't not stabilizing any of there strains, so on that alone I have to disagree with the suggestions of breeders here that are just crossing polyhybrids and that includes bodhi, archive, cannaventure and TGA. I have no info on the others breeding practices. I'm not saying you won't find a dank pheno but there's going to be a lot of different phenos especially in indica/sativa mixes.

Based on my experiences the fact that your looking for a indica Dom variety helps as I see less variable phenotypes in indica Dom strains. I'd look for anything ibl, or even F2 of known stable strains like Sweettooth. I know serious seeds Ak-47 and White Russian was pretty damn stable last I grew them in 09. Also LA Confidential I got 3 females and all 3 were very simliar with only one having slightly less yield and purpled a bit.

I wish I could offer more but these are only ones I've grown that were both dank and consistent. That's not to say you won't find dank phenos in those other breeders strains as they have proven there are, just that your going to find a variety of phenos. Good luck with your choice and keep us informed of both your decision and results.

Just for clarity F1 are where there is stability and hybrid vigour.
Have a read here for clarification

Yes they will be more stable than f2-f3, also that article is referring to crossing 2 already stable line. Most breeders today are breeding 2 polyhybrids which is opening up a plethora of phenos. I personally would take a F2 of a stable strain over an F1 of two polyhybrids as far as stability is concerned.

I'm not going to pretend I have any idea on how to stabilize a strain but I'm going to try my hand at it. Looking for a killer male now from my current seed stock to breed back to my Wifi.

True breeding is very hard to come by these days top 3 off the top of my head are ... Greengoolabs , some Bodhi since his males are solid and make for good f1s then i also love Loompas gear which i seen greengoo is working with a lot of old clones I love... And all are def worked to the max and this guy def knows true breeding not just slapping f1s out and hyping for the cash like all are doing since the laws came in but his name is chem and he use to be part of the chem fam i read from some posts and I almost think maybe he is one of the the chem fam guys working under a secret name lol to stay incognito ;) or he just had a lot lf
Killer dank gear and knows how to work them anyways for older breeders mrnice and sensi are nice but I like the ogs, sours and skunks and greengoolabs had it all and there what they say they are not hit or miss ... If it's called skunk then it's skunk if it's blueberry then it's all straight true blueberry smell and taste anyways there's a few others i have liked but all make fems and fems always lose vigor when growing clone off clone for so long and I've had a chem91skva bx3 from greengoo since 3 years ago and it's still solid ,skunky funky dank and the same if not better growth wise then the first grow of them since i got her down now obviously ;) Anyways im all greengoo and Bodhi for the most part now
