I used to love mexican import weed, but it is not really available. I like a strain called Ciskei from South Africa. Last year I reproduced seeds of this strain and am just now finally finishing up and curing my first sensimilla crop. I sampled a little bit and am really happy with it so far. Other than that I am a newbie to the pure sativa landraces and have been collecting seeds for future growing. Can't wait to experience these landrace sativas over the coming years!

One of my favorite sativas, King Congo (Tropical Seeds Company) is a cross between Ciskei and Congo Point Noire. But I haven't tried pure Ciskei yet.

Another would be Destroyer (CannaBioGen), [Meao Thai * (Michoacan Lemon Green * Colombian Red, I think)].

I also remember an old variety of A.C.E. (I'm talking about 20 years ago) that I think was only sold in Spain: Renatta (Brazil * Cambodia). But I only tasted one a year that a friend grew it, and you can't judge a variety by one individual, of course.

I grew up basically smoking Transkei and Lesotho weed and never really appreciated how nice it actually was until my older days, had a rather short high peak but on good batches and I shit you not on my couch in my living room I would literally feel relaxed to the point of passing out for a few moments and feeling like my heart had slowed down to the point that it stopped.

You would basically gain conscious in a huge adrenaline spurt but this was very short lived and you would basically need to keep smoking more to feel high but wouldn't reach that same peak until the next day after school and not smoking the whole day. It's strange how you start remembering these these once they are gone.

I am absolutely fascinated by landraces - namely the equatorial ones and how they have acclimatised to their environment. I only really have experience with SE Asian landraces but I'm looking at Malawi as potentially the one I'm truly looking for in a smoke - is the general consensus that Malawai is the strongest, raciest, most psychedelic sativa out there? I was always under the impression that:
SE Asian landraces = more psychedelic/expansive
African landraces = more racey/intense
South American landraces = more uplifting/positive

I understand all of these effects can be present across all the landraces but for me, nothing beats a cerebral, trippy sativa high. Indicas are medicine for the body, sativas are medicine for the mind.

Vietnam black*Meao Thai was the most eye opening sativa I ever tried.
Blueberry Thai was amazing...
Thai's are good.
I grew the original Kalinga from the Philippines and it was some very subtle sativa herb.
The Seeds are around here somewhere ...

Ace's Malawi isn't racy and are plenty of strains that are more psychadelic, trippy than it.It is very potent but in an introverted, stuck in your own thoughts way that i find quite depressing.Congolese has a much more lively and racy high and a fave from the Africans i've tried.

I miss the old Ace seeds Meao Thai crosses too
The purple Haze x MT
And the Vietnam black x MT
They were racy.
The General consensus on Malawi is that it is racy.
reading about sativa makes me want to try destroyer from Cannabiogen. I bet it's suuuuper sativa and pure and true unlike when ya go to any dispensary!
Ya go into a dispensary and ask for sativa and they give you just some bland fruity kind of indica and say this one's sativa.
I know real sativa.
And it doesn't come from stores.
It just doesn't.
