WHICH NUTES?

i have pretty much depleted my nute supply and it is time to re-up.

I am looking for a little help on which line to choose. I have used foxfarm in the past but it seems there are some others better suited for our favorite plant. I'd like to lean toward organics but i am not strictly organic. Also recs for retail outlets are appreciated.

IMHO

Pure Blend for soil plants... good stuff... looks like fish emulsion coming out of the bottle... you can tell its full of uber goodness... its all organic too.

Ive also heard great things about Advance Hydroponics line of nutes... although they can be a bit pricey.

EarthJuice is good stuff but it requires 24hrs of bubbling to stabalize the PH. Pure Blend and most other nutes come with an added PH buffer.

Depends on what you already have in your soil...If you start with a stripped down more neutral growing medium. You probably would need to add some magnesium, calcium, sulfur and the other micro-nutes. Pretty much everything the plant needs for a healthy life. Something like Botanicare CalMag+ or Epsom salts and like Earthjuice Microblast...ect.
Now if you started with a more organically fortified soil mix like worm castings, seaweed, bloodmeal, bonemeal, guanos, ect... Then you only need to suppliment a little.

I am using Advanced Nutes (mostly organic)- I run their Iguana juice Grow, Pirhana and Tarantula during Veg, then I give a big dose of Fox Farm Bloom at the onset of flowering, followed by regular feeding with Iguana Juice Bloom and Carbo Load, supplementing Big Bud (synthetic) additive in weeks 2-6. I like to switch over to the fox farm bloom again for the last week of feeding because it has a lot less N than the IGB. After that it's plain water for the last 1.5 - 2 weeks. I couldnt be happier with the results right now - I used to use Fox Farm exclusively and my testament is that the AN line smokes the standard FF stuff.
