which nirvana strain to grow?

dude..they cheap, so why not get a few..thats what i did..my order should be here soon..for around 80 bucks (australian) i got 1xak48,1x white wddow, 1xnorthern lights #5xshiva and 1xk2..all 10 packs...figure ill grow em all out and clone off the best girls and have 4 mothers...mmmmm...wiith my 2 room setup i am hoping to run 2 seperate stages of flower under 2 600 watt hps lights..and have them 4 weeks apart, for continues harvest...mmmmm....go hard man

I'm telling ya man, if your ordering from gypsy try the Big Bud. It isn't the same shit as the commercial strain Big Bud. There are some good phenotypes to choose from and they're low odor. I just smoked the more sativa looking one from my last harvest it's pretty good weed almost a little trippy and very uppity. Definately worth the $15. I haven't tried any of my Durban Poison from Nirvana, it looks tasty and it also low odor.

My C-99 is still the lowest odor strain I've ever had that was worth growing though.

i think im gonna go with c-99 im gonna grow 1 sadhu a c99 and a nlxbb under a 250 watt hps hopefully it'll all work out and have some low odor ill probably try some blue mystic or big bud for my grow after that wish me luck grow on

I ordered a 4 pack about a year ago. I choose AK48, Bubblelicious, Cali Orange, and White Widow. So far I've only grown out AK48 and it was pretty awesome for what I paid for it. I plan on growing the Cali Orange this fall. Since then I've gotten alot of awesome strains and it seems that these Nirvana strains are on the backburner. Don't get me wrong I'm still going to grow them sooner or later. I couldn't resist getting the 4 pack, I only paid $50 for all 4. It was my first purchase ever. Most people go with Nirvana when they first start out. Why not they are cheap and pretty decent. The AK was very potent and frosty. I was really impressed to tell you the truth.

There WW is pretty good. Its definatly not the strongest but has a good couchlock. I like there White Rhino better and it has been quite abit stronger with a little faster bloom time. Most of my White Widows went about 10 weeks. Im still hoping to get one of Nirvanas purple pheno WR.

I had no problems with xlines C99. 5 out of 5 germ. And No male flowers. I have read lots of post that peoples C99 hermied but none of mine did. I grew real easy and had a strange floral scent. Maybe alittle spicey.

As far as other strains Blue mistic is pretty good. IMO it doesnt represent most of the other Blue berries that i have grown but you can definetly find a keeper.

Good luck in finding what you want. So many to choose from and so little space.

I've not grown any of the strains you mention, but have grown a few different Nirvana strains and overall I'd say they were well worth the money, at least until you've refined your growing techniques enough to reliably grow most of your plants through to flowering. I've lost two complete crops whilst learning (one due to health problems that stopped me tending the garden, the other due to a lamp accident) - losing 12 plants that cost me £1 per seed sucks a little, losing 12 plants that cost me £6-7 per seed would have been much more painful.

Anyway, I can strongly recommend Nirvana's Northern Lights, as that survived my best attempts to kill it with ignorance - a tiny rubbermaid micro-grow of one bonsai female, she didn't produce a single banana despite me breaking every rule in the book, and produced approx. 10g of airy popcorn that still managed to get me utterly baked. I'm growing their NLxShiva now (22 days from planting, started LSTing them 2 days ago), so I'll soon be able to see if that's as good (though these days it's under 400W of HPS for flowering rather than 45W of CFL).

My best grow so far (not that it was great, but 150-200g from 4 plants, lasted me 6 months) was Nirvana's Misty (I notice they've brought out 'Early Misty' since I last bought any seeds, I may be giving that a try when I get space in my schedule). They describe it as a sister of their white widow, and I can confirm that it produces a very acceptable covering of white crystals - more than one person I smoked up with it described it as 'the best weed they'd ever smoked' (admittedly they're not growers (yet, one or two of them got very interested in the idea after smoking with me), but they're not soapbar smokers either).

In a few weeks I'll have a smoke report on a couple of very abused (experimenting with my soil/ferts and rusty after a lay-off) Nirvana California Orange Bud - so far they look ok, but I've had one or two hermie flowers on one of them and unless they bulk up a hell of a lot in the last fortnight they're rather leafy for my tastes, though I suspect the trim might be pretty good for bubble hash.
