Where would you live out of Australia, Canada or the UK?

The first police group was assembled from convicts, gotta love that place ;)

When the stand up scottish comic Billy Connerlly was entering the country,He was asked if he had a criminal record..replying..........i didn't know you still needed one.... :bow: :bow:

I've never been to OZ, but the Aussies I've met are a cool bunch.

Canada is a great place, and full of transplanted Brits if you need that. It's a safe and civil society, high standard of living, full of polite and courteous people. Beautiful countryside! Winters are a bitch, but I hear they're OK on the W coast.

I doubt Canada has much on the UK for weather these days

temp is currently low to mid twenties, often higher in early-mid Sept
this summer it was regularly as high as 30s
likewise, I would expect winters here to be way less harsh than they generally are in Canada

working in the oil sands?
hmmmm
surely a few ethical considerations there
I'd sooner be a little less rich and work in sustainable forestry

the real downside for the UK is not weather - it's the cost of living
unless you are very lucky, you are likely to pay through the nose for rent
