I have been growing for 15 years and have never really grown a pure sativa. I did get a freebie pack of original Haze way back in the day like 08 but sadly never got around to them before they lost viability.

Zamaldelica is at the top of my list of things I have my eyes on. I'd also really like to grow a true haze and see what the fuss is about. SSH used to be one of my favorite flavor profiles. Tom's? Nevilles? Something else?

Would also be interested in something mexican. That's what I grew up smoking and I remember the "good" nonbricked stuff we'd get was really unique compared to anything ive smoked since. the nostalgia factor is there as well.

I have all the time in the world for flowering indoors, but it would also be fun to have some in the ground as well. I'm at 38N and we usually don't get frost until december.

Looking forward to your suggestions thanks yall

Ace’s Panama is a very impressive plant that is easy to grow also. Incredible terpene profile and resin production along with strong effects. Highly recommended.

I plan to grow Panama and also Panama Haze. Thinking I'll throw in Malawi for good measure (and Zamaldelica) I hope to run either tom hill haze, Sam's haze, or old timers haze this winter indoors and select one or two to grow outdoors next season.

Panama x Honduras is great too. Oldtimers was good but very long flowering. Zamaldelica, I've only grown a cross but suspect it would be really good. In fact I really wish I'd ordered it. Some members here do great sativa work. I liked some of Donald Mallards haze and Laos crosses. Maha Kaha's sativas look great and seem to get good reviews. Mad Mac is probably also worth a look. There's so many options.

Yeah its really overwhelming haha thanks for the suggestions. I have a couple Laos from TRSC going right now that I can't wait for. The longer flowering the better. I have never experienced a 100% pure sativa and am really looking forward to dedicating the next few years to finding my favorite!

What about a Santa Ana cut of Blue Dream, if it can be found. He'll, if you want to get moving with sativas I couldn't think of a better one. 9-10 weeks flower, 90/10 sativa, great terps, very forgiving

I agree that it is overwhelming; too much choice. I got some Mango Thai and Manipuri from TRSC. The Manipuri was a great high, but very, very long flowering (like 9 months in flower) and didn't properly finish even then. Not strong but really pleasant. Mango Thai was ok but not quite what I was after. I did cross it with a choc Thai so might grow that in the future. Wish I had got some of his Laos.

9 week flowering sativa? Come on man

@alvin88 if you are looking to experience 100% sativa effects as you say, don't grow anything under 12-14 weeks.
Agreed. Time isn't an issue for me really., we don't get serious rain or frost until close to chrostmas. I plan on running mostly 12-14 week strains in my outdoor garden. They should finish around mid November here. I do want to run just one or two 16+ in case we have a late start to winter.

You are very optimistic. You could definitely do that with a hybrid. Sativas seem to slow down in the cold. I planted a sativa-leaning Super Malawi Haze Mar. 1 in a cold basement and it took a while to take off. I believe it was the cold. Started this plant at 12/12 and later to 11/13. So its been flowering for about 22 weeks and should be done in 2 more. This was the longer of two plants; the other came in at about 18-19 weeks.
I was concerned as well that the plant took its time to develop resin, It finally did and I expect a great and memorable product. The longer it takes a plant to finish, the more chance there is to foul up. Since you have the experience, you will be better prepared if things go awry.
And, if you have clones, you're golden.

Maybe you are right, I tend to be that way. I am confident however that the ACE malawi, and certainly the panama should do ok here. I live in pretty much the same environment and latitude as where they do their grows. The hazes may be trickier, and ill probably only run 1. It would be nice to find a 14 weem haze indoors this winter and then run it next season. Thay would be ideal.
