Where did seeds come from ? Males removed!

I am now reaping about 7 different plants, all different varieties, some feminised, some not, some from seed, some clone. Indoors.

I watched them like a hawk every day after they went on 12/12
and removed males the first day I could tell the difference.
(My 4th grow.) Yet some of the plants have a few seeds and some none. How could this be ?

They could be slightly hermied. Sometimes some plants hermie but don't form a lot of male flowers and the ones they do form get swallowed by the bud so that seeds only form in that bud.

:yeahthats

Exactly what I was going to say.

FWIW....This happened to me on my first grow. Removed one male out of four plants....way before he busted his nut all over my ladies. Still I had a couple seeds. WTF?!?! So upon closer inspection while I was breaking some bud up about a month later, I scrutinized what I was handling. Low and behold I found a couple dried pollen sacs deep within the flowers. Also, if you grow in a tent like I do, keep in mind it only takes one pollen sac to pollinate the whole damn bunch.

That could be. I thought: wouldn't we see the male balls beside a flower ? but I guess we don't search the entire plant - we see pre
flowers or balls on one branch and we stop looking at that one.

Anyway cleaning seeds will remind me of my youth.
Just need a vinyl LP cover now.

There is that. Also where I found my pollen sacks was when I pulled the nug off the branch. The sac was actually between the nug and the branch...hidden, squished, and of course...empty.

Happened to me, but a lot of seeds. Intersexed is what they call it, or throwing nanners. Look for little yellow bananas on buds. Like 2 mm long. I found a bunch when I looked with loupe.
The seeds are usually female. I am gonna plant some of them one day.

happened to me also with some bag seed indicas. mine came on late and i ended with micro sized white pellets. i hated that. now i am vigilant in watching for any signs of pollen sacs etc... i believe Ed Rosenthal stated that some strains will throw out the sacs as a survival trait no matter what.

If your getting nanner or seeds on your female plants, its normally from not so good conditions. Light leak, letting plants that are in there 12 hrs of dark should get 0 light. Over feeding, letting them dry out, anything that shocks the plant can make it nanner. some strains are stronger than others. it seems your is a bit sensative. Make sure theres no shock and no light leak and you should be good! Hope this helps

Thanks to All !! I see a lot of 'resin' on the out side of the seeds with my magnifier. Has there been any comparison of seeds vs no seeds- THC content ?
Who knows - maybe its worth the work to remove seeds.
Just a thought .
