Where are Nepalese Sativas?

I agree. Lucky man, he got the right latitude for exotic sativas, plus he perfectly knows how to grow'em. That Nepali branchy wall in the pic is art.

I can't write in Spanish but I can generally understand when I read it, so if LMN wants to tell something about that plant and the Nepalis, I would appreciate it very much.
I also know he can't speak English, so I hope that someone of you can translate my invitaton to him.
Thanx

Dubi - wow - I can't believe I haven't seen your list before - amazing. There's a couple on there I'm very interested in already.

I think 2007 is going to be the year of the sativas for me now...:)

Hola todos y muchas gracias Zamalito, LMN y Raco.

Maybe it's time for me to seriously learn Spanish... :chin: ...maybe it's time to move to Spain and become a farmer :D

So that was the Nepali used for the famous Timanfaya! Absolutely great! It seems perfect for northern autumns.

north indian parvatti sativas -wild north indian pheno

north indian parvatti sativas -wild north indian pheno

High Syd, raco, zamalito and all the himalayan sativa lovers!

It's great to see you around! Good vibes and happy grows for 2007!

Here are some north indian parvati sativas grown here some years ago. Seeds were recollected by Ying Yang in different parvatti zones. There's also a HUGE genetic diversity in north india.

Some wild north india sativas grow very similar to wild nepalese with a lanky asymetric structure, dark pigmentation, thin leaf etc ...

Wild north indian pics

notice the reddish stem, quite similar to wild nepalese kathmandu.

The more domesticated north indian sativas grow more symetric with lots of strong branches, bigger leaf, bigger size of seed, etc ... compared with wild plants.

Another parvati female starting to flower. She grows bushier with lighter colour tha nher sister.

And finally there are also some slightly indica influenced parvati plants.

She doesnt flower forming long fluffy colas like her sisters. The flowers are rounded and separated between them (more indica kind of flowering). The aroma is stronger and buds denser.

Damn, I wish I had pics of my parvati line. Mine are definitely much more as you described the domesticated lines. Beautiful! Yours are probably more authentic to what they were growing 100 years ago and the real strain of parvati and shiva.

Hi all,
I have no experiences with pure Indian plants, just some very good fresh charas and I liked it very much 'cause it had an up sativa effect...without tellin' about aromas...aargh...you'd just bite it. I've also smoked some Kashmir hash in A'dam many years ago and it was not very strong but nicely patchooli scented. I found the same aroma in a cross of mine made with a beautiful Jamaican sativa, 2nd generation after removing from its island.

Vlad, I think you'll find some queue infront the spanish border: we're not the only ones with this project. ;-D
Plus cooking, taxes and the general costs of life are better in Spain than in hundreds of other "western" countries.

Dubi, do you think to restock Timanfaya and Nepalese Jam in the near future?

High raco friend!

Malana sativa is a very special north indian. Her different aromas, tastes and complex high makes her unique. Kaiki used her for our Canela, which is a Malana north indian x jamaican 85 F1 sativa hybrid.

Besides the 'Bangi Haze', ACE also offers 'Guerilla' :

"This beautiful F1 cames to cross two of our best highland sativas: the generous, compact and fast Leshoto from the south-African mountains and the exotic Nepalese from the Kathmandú Valley.

The aroma is a blend between different mediterranean spices such as rosemary, anise with forest fruit details and woody and incensed hints.

We strongly recommend this strain for cold climates and grows in high zones, where this sativa finishes with amazing red and purple colours along the stem and buds. High mold resistance."

The strain 'Purple Peace' is also half nepalese sativa (X Viking). The breeder sent some beans out a few yrs. back. Totally an outdoor strain.

Hope that helps!

Good day Highlighter! Thanks for post our Guerrilla description. She's indeed a very special highland sativa hybrid. The mother line was the pure leshoto CBG sativa.
Pure leshoto is a compact, columnar and robust sativa. She flowers in about 9 weeks resisting very nice cold conditions. It's great to cross with other taller and long flowering sativas.

We pollinate leshoto mother with nepalese kathnadu and inbred the most interesting phenos for 2 generations.

Here are some leshoto mother pics!
