when to transplant

im growing 1 female ice plant from seed and I juz wanted to know how long I should wait to transplant it from a beer cup to a larger pot. The plant is lookin very healthy at about a week old.

Did you put any drainage holes in this beer cup?
Normally what I do is wait until I see roots coming coming out of the drainage holes
Then transplant when the soil is moist, not soaking and not dry

yeah i have about 5 drainage holes..They are tiny tho so I dunno if roots will be able to come out.

From the time they sprout I usually wait 14 days give or take.

make the holes bigger, stick a pencil or something in there. If they are strong enough to stand well on their own, they could probably easily be transplanted.

Wait until you start seeing the roots coming out of the bottom of the pot via the drainage holes generally is the time to transplant.
